Baked Cassava Cake Recipe, Soft and Delicious

Cassava or cassava is one of the food ingredients that we often encounter. Cassava dishes that I often make are fried/boiled cassava, cassava candil like the ones I made before. As a variation so that you don't get bored of eating cassava, this time I processed cassava into cassava cake or what we usually call adee.

The process of making this cake takes a long time with the baking process. Cassava cake is generally made by baking it in the oven, but if you don't have an oven, you can also make it by steaming it because it tastes equally delicious, sweet and soft. Ingredients needed

  • 1 kg grated cassava
  • 3 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 300 grams granulated sugar (to taste)
  • 2 eggs
  • 370 ml medium thick coconut milk
  • 30 grams margarine (liquid)
  • 1 packet vanilla powder

Note: Cassava before peeling 1200 grams, grated or pureed with a blender without using water

First step: Transfer the cassava to another container, then add tapioca flour, salt, stir until well mixed.

Second step: add granulated sugar, vanilla powder, stir again until well mixed, after the dough is well mixed, add the eggs (beat the eggs first) then stir the dough until well mixed.

Third step: Add melted margarine, coconut milk, then stir the dough again until well mixed.

Fourth step: After all the dough is well mixed, pour the dough into a 20x20 pan that has been greased with butter. Previously I have heated the oven for about 7 minutes

Step five: Bake the dough at a temperature of 175 degrees Celsius using top and bottom heat for about 60 to 75 minutes or until the cake looks brown. Adjusted to each oven. Once cooked, remove and remove the pan from the oven. Let the cake cool then remove the cake from the pan, cut into pieces according to taste, The cake is ready to serve.

Although the cooking process takes a long time, the results and taste are very satisfying. The texture is soft and chewy, the taste is very delicious, steady, the sweetness is just right, savory, the aroma is very delicious. Very suitable for snacks at home or for entertaining guests and lasts a long time in the refrigerator, if you want to eat or entertain, just warm it up using the microwave.
