Saludos a todas las damas 🐝 en esta primera participación me he decidido por el segundo tema.

2️⃣ Ahora que se acerca el verano (invierno, si está por debajo del ecuador), ¿qué planes especiales de vacaciones tiene para los próximos meses? ¿Adónde va y qué actividades tiene previstas?.

No es muy difícil pensar en un lugar en el que quisiera quedarme todas las vacaciones, inviernos o veranos. Creo que algunas veces me vuelvo muy predecible, ¡sí, yo sé! Hay que cambiar de vez en cuando de hábitos o en este caso, de lugares y tachar un nuevo rincón en el mapa. Pero a veces el monedero tiene planes diferentes 🤭

Aun con el monedero lleno o medio lleno, elijo una y otra vez el pueblito de Cubiro (Municipio Jiménez, Edo. Lara-Venezuela) voy junto a mi esposo por lo menos 3 veces al año 😔 y si te soy sincera, para mi corazón eso es muy poquito. A pesar de que Cubiro no es un poblado muy grande, no han sido suficientes esas visitas para recorrerlo por completo. Cuando apenas llegamos, nos ponemos en modo hiking, damos la vuelta por la zona de la plaza, nos tomamos un chocolate, actualizamos las fotos 🤭 y los días siguientes empieza lo que más anhelamos de esas vacaciones. Tomamos otro camino y comenzamos a recorrer la montaña nuevamente. En cada caminata pareciera que la vegetación se nos muestra más, vemos cosas que antes no notamos. A veces creo que en cada encuentro con la montaña, esta nos pone pruebas y nos recompensa con su neblina que vuelve todo siempre más mágico y misterioso.

Por eso siempre quiero volver, porque ansío encontrarme por lo menos una vez en la vida con las guacharacas 🐦 que cantan todos los días escondidas en su bosque digno de elogios.

Es un cambio radical, pasar del trabajo frente a la computadora y estar siempre pendiente de la carga del teléfono y WhatsApp, a estar en una humilde casa de barro y pasar la noche contando las constelaciones que vemos en el cielo 🌠 es el mejor plan de la vida.

El próximo reto por cumplir es visitar el río que está a unos 17 km de donde nos solemos quedar, que es nada más y nada menos que la casa materna de mi suegro 🌿 Estoy preparada para ese maratón. Pero, ¿bañarme en el río? Ehm 😅 jaja me han dicho que es muy bueno darse un baño allí. El frío es el que todavía no me convence, quizá me atreva esta vez.

Espero encontrar el pasto verde verdecito y tomar fotos a las flores recién nacidas ansiosas de que admiren su belleza, porque como dijo Simón Bolivar:

"100 fotos de una misma flor jamás serán suficientes".

Ok, ok tal vez no lo dijo Simón Bolivar, pero suena muy chévere ☝🏻

También en este pronto descanso me gustaría hacer un pay de frambuesas en el horno de barro. Muy cerca de la casa hay varios arbustos y siempre la encontramos cargada de muchas frambuesitas. Algo más que quiero hacer en vacaciones es sembrar un árbol 🌱 ¡sí, señor! Pero eso será en otro lugar de Barquisimeto 😁

Greetings to all the ladies 🐝 in this first participation I have decided on the second topic.

2️⃣ With summer fast approaching (winter, if below the equator) what special vacation plans do you have in the next couple of months? Where are you going and what activities are planned?

It's not too hard to think of a place where I would want to stay every vacation, winter or summer. I think sometimes I get too predictable, yes, I know! You have to change habits from time to time or in this case, places and cross out a new corner on the map. But sometimes the purse has different plans 🤭.

Even with a full or half full wallet, I choose again and again the small town of Cubiro (Municipality Jimenez, Edo. Lara-Venezuela) I go with my husband at least 3 times a year 😔 and if I'm honest, for my heart that is very little. Even though Cubiro is not a very big town, those visits have not been enough to visit it completely. As soon as we arrive, we get into hiking mode, we walk around the square area, we have a chocolate, we update the photos 🤭 and the following days begins what we most long for this vacation. We take another road and start hiking the mountain again. On each hike it seems that the vegetation shows us more, we see things we didn't notice before. Sometimes I think that in every encounter with the mountain, it tests us and rewards us with its mist that makes everything always more magical and mysterious.

That's why I always want to go back, because I long to meet at least once in my life with the guacharacas 🐦 that sing every day hidden in their forest worthy of praise.

It's a radical change, going from working in front of the computer and being always aware of the phone and WhatsApp charge, to be in a humble mud house and spend the night counting the constellations we see in the sky 🌠 is the best plan in life.

The next challenge to accomplish is to visit the river which is about 17 km from where we usually stay, which is none other than my father-in-law's maternal home 🌿 I'm ready for that marathon. But bathing in the river? Ehm 😅 haha I've been told it's really good to take a bath there. The cold is the one that still doesn't convince me, maybe I'll dare this time.

I hope to find the little green grass and take pictures of the new born flowers eager for you to admire their beauty, because as Simón Bolivar said:

"100 photos of the same flower will never be enough".

Ok, ok maybe Simón Bolivar didn't say it, but it sounds very cool ☝🏻

Also in this soon break I would like to make a raspberry pie in the clay oven. Very close to the house there are several bushes and we always find it loaded with lots of raspberries. Something else I want to do on vacation is to plant a tree 🌱 yes sir! But that will be somewhere else in Barquisimeto 😁.

P.S. Mentally I'm already on the bus heading to the serene town of Cubiro 😎.
