I'm still in this little exercise that has some resemblance to woodcut or linocut, I still have no idea what to call the technique if it's done using a phone and my finger, but since a name isn't necessary yet, it will remain nameless for a while longer.

What I can say is that I like what has resulted from the fusion of Splinterlands game characters and random situations, such as: taking a selfie (where you can't see your face), meditating and thinking about sharpening the axe, dancing Bling-Bang-Bang-Born with dangerous tailor's scissors or quietly practicing tai chi (mandatory practice if you're a mushroom). There is a multiverse of surreal illustrations that everyone expresses according to their tastes and character.

¡Saludos a todos! Constantemente estoy desapareciendo y volviendo, aunque las ilustraciones siempre están presentes en el trabajo y en mi tiempo libre. Sigo en este pequeño ejercicio que tiene cierta semejanza con la xilografía o linograbado, todavía no tengo idea de cómo llamarle a la técnica si se hace mediante un teléfono y con el dedo, pero como un nombre no es necesario aún, pues seguirá sin nombre por un rato más.

Lo que puedo decir es que me gusta lo que ha resultado de la fusión de los personajes del juego de Splinterlands y situaciones aleatorias, como por ejemplo: tomarse una selfie (donde no se vea tu cara), meditar y pensar en sacar filo al hacha, bailar Bling-Bang-Bang-Born con tijeras de sastre peligroso o practicar tranquilamente taichí (práctica obligatoria si eres un hongo). Hay un multiverso de ilustraciones surrealistas que cada quien expresa de acuerdo a sus gustos y carácter.

Hoy elegí al personaje Thunderhoof Nomad que está dispuesta a proteger su tribu de cualquier mal que aceche, los centauros recorren llanuras buscando un lugar donde preservar sus habilidades herbolarias y también donde cultivar... la historia es bastante fascinante y hasta sensible, me gusta lo que me dicen acerca de Thunderhoof Nomad, si pulsas el nombre irás directo a la página de Splinterlands donde puedes saber más de este personaje.

Process

My sketch was only half a body, because hey! it was a bit difficult, here we go little by little... The idea came from my cousins who are much younger than me, although I don't understand the point of taking a picture of you and covering your face, well, well, I guess there's not much to say if they made me stick my tongue out for pictures or show all my teeth. 😅

The reference for the hands are always my own hands, that's a good tip for drawing. After sketching I go on to further define the drawing and use a black background for inspiration to come.

Mi boceto solo fue de medio cuerpo, porque ¡hey! Estaba un poco difícil, aquí vamos poco a poco... La idea vino de mis primos que son mucho más jóvenes que yo, aunque no entiendo el punto de tomarte una foto y tapar tu cara, bueno, bueno, creo que no hay mucho que decir si a mí me hacían sacar la lengua para las fotos o mostrar todos los dientes. 😅

La referencia de las manos siempre son mis propias manos, ese es un buen consejo para dibujar. Luego de hacer el boceto paso a definir más el dibujo y ocupo un fondo negro para que llegue la inspiración.

Finally, I fill the illustration with these lines that maintain a certain harmony, but it's only an illusion, if you look closely they don't measure the same and there's a little bit of trembling line in some corner, but it's well hidden, that's part of the essence of the illustration. I added the bright green tones because they are quite distinctive in Thunderhoof Nomad. and that's how it turned out! 🌿

Por último, relleno la ilustración con estas líneas que mantienen cierta armonía, pero solo es una ilusión, si se fijan no miden lo mismo y existe un poquito de línea temblorosa en algún rincón, solo que está bien escondido, eso es parte de la esencia de la ilustración. Agregué los tonos verdes brillantes porque son bastante distintivos en Thunderhoof Nomad. ¡Y así ha quedado! 🌿
