Homemade Tuna Pâté Recipe Step by Step - Eng&Esp

Once again I bring you an easy and simple recipe to make at home. This is a homemade Tuna Pâté and let's start with the ingredients.
Hola amigos amantes a la cocina, espero que estén muy bien el día de hoy.
Nuevamente les traigo una receta fácil y sencilla para hacer en casa. Se trata de un Pâté de Atún casero y empezamos con los ingredientes.
For this homemade tuna we will need:
1 sachet of unflavored gelatin
1 whole tuna (it does not matter if it is with oil or with water) I have not tried it with shredded tuna, although I think it can also serve (but, maybe it changes the taste a little)
-Mayonnaise (I made this mayonnaise at home, I can give you the recipe later, it is very easy).
-Cilantro to taste (I also add the stems but if you don't want such an intense flavor, you can add just the leaves)
Salt to taste
- Optional: you can add some pepper, salt, olive oil and lemon.
Para este atún casero necesitaremos:
1 sobre de gelatina sin sabor
1 atún entero (da lo mismo si es con aceite o con agua) no lo he probado con atún desmenuzado, aunque creo que también puede servir (pero, a lo mejor le cambia un poco el sabor)
-Mayonesa (esta mayonesa yo la hice en casa, luego puedo darles la receta, es muy fácil)
-Cilantro al gusto (yo le coloco también los tallos pero si no quieres un sabor tan intenso, puedes colocarle solo las hojitas)
Sal al gusto
- Opcional: puedes colocarle un poco de pimienta, sal, aceite de oliva y limón.
We proceed to the preparation:
First we are going to make the unflavored gelatin, this one in particular, its instructions said that we must first hydrate the 9g powder in a third of a cup in cold or room water for 5 to 10 minutes. Then you should turn the stove on medium heat and add the gelatin already hydrated in the pot or in the microwave also works. I did it in this case in a pot until it dissolved completely and then remove.
Important: do not let it harden, so we should already have the tuna and cilantro leaves washed, before making the gelatin.
Procedemos a la preparación:
Primero vamos a hacer la gelatina sin sabor, está en particular, sus instrucciones decían que primero debemos hidratar el polvo de 9g en un tercio de taza en agua fría o ambiente por 5 o 10 minutos. Luego debes prender la hornilla a fuego medio y agregar la gelatina ya hidratada en la olla o en microondas también sirve. Yo lo hice en este caso en una olla hasta que se disolvió por completo y luego retire.
Importante: no dejar que se endurezca, así que ya deberíamos tener el atún y las hojas de cilantro lavadas, antes de realizar la gelatina.
Once this is ready, place the tuna, mayonnaise, cilantro and liquid gelatin in a blender.
Ya listo esto, procedemos a colocar en una licuadora el atún, la mayonesa, el cilantro y la gelatina líquida.
Blend until everything is integrated and transfer to a pot to cool in the refrigerator.
Licuamos hasta que veamos todo integrado y pasamos a un pote para enfriarlo en la nevera.
After about 30 to 40 minutes we will have a hard consistency ready to spread on cassava, crackers or toasted bread.
Luego de unos 30 minutos o 40 minutos tendremos una consistencia dura y lista para untar con casabe, galleta de soda o pan tostado.
In this case, I accompanied it with some almond flour-based keto bread and another tip I give you is that if you suddenly find the tuna pâté too compact because of the gelatin, you can take 2 or 3 tablespoons from the pot and mix it with a little mayonnaise and olive oil to give it a creamier and easier-to-spread consistency.
Yo en este caso, lo acompañe con unos pancitos keto a base de harina de almendra y otro dato que les doy, es que si de repente les queda muy compacto el paté de atún por la gelatina, pueden sacar del pote unas 2 o 3 cucharadas que vayan a consumir y mezclarlo con un poco de mayonesa y aceite de oliva para darle una consistencia más cremosa y fácil de agarrar para untar.
It really is a very easy recipe to make but nevertheless is very rich and more if you plan to meet with friends and do not want to arrive empty-handed hehe, this is very yielding and economical to make, since the ingredients are not so many and is not as expensive as buying a pate in the supermarket.

Realmente es una receta muy fácil de hacer pero sin embargo es muy rica y más si piensas reunirte con unos amigos y no quieres llegar con las manos vacías jeje, esto es muy rendidor y económico de hacer, ya que los ingredientes no son tantos y no es tan costoso como comprar un pate en el supermercado.
