I Show You the Best of Margarita Island 🌴 - #147 [ESP-ENG]

Undoubtedly, one of the best things there is in Venezuela, are its tropical beaches with the best weather and one of the places to fall in love with this country is "Margarita Island". I currently live on the island, but I was born in Caracas, then I lived more than 6 years in Chile and more than a year ago I came to Margarita Island with the intention of spending a little vacation, but I got caught and fell in love with this island that has a lot to offer. There are not only beaches, there are also hiking and professional hikers that take you to hidden mountain routes, caves, panoramas from the top and beaches where you can only get there walking or by boat. I could not rank only 2 of the best things to do on the island, because when you set foot on the Caribbean, it has a lot to give. Its food is exquisite, if you are a fan of seafood, you can taste: shrimp, fish, lobster, octopus, etc. in the place where you will eat the freshest or as they say here "From the sea, to the mouth". On the other hand, you have the nightlife which is undoubtedly quite lively, since today, tourism has come to life and its facilities and / or amenities for anyone who wants to come. There are hotels 100% operational, with excellent wifi, water and electricity, which gives you a cozy stay, to enjoy its beaches and tourist sites.

Sin duda, una de las mejores cosas que hay en Venezuela, son sus playas tropicales con el mejor clima y uno de los lugares para enamorarse de este país es "La Isla de Margarita". Actualmente vivo en la isla, pero nací en Caracas, luego viví más de 6 años en Chile y hace más de un año me vine a la Isla de Margarita con la intención de pasar unas pequeñas vacaciones, pero me atrapó y me enamoré de esta Isla que tiene mucho que ofrecer. No solo hay playas, también hay senderismos y excursionistas profesionales que te llevan a rutas de montañas escondidas, cuevas, panoramas desde lo más alto y playas donde solo llegas caminando o en barco. No podría clasificar solo 2 de las mejores cosas por hacer en la isla, ya que cuando pisas el caribe, tiene mucho para dar. Su comida es exquisita, si eres fanático de la comida de mar, podrás degustar: camarones, pescados, langostas, pulpo, etc. en el lugar donde comerás más fresco o como dicen aquí "Del mar, a la boca". Por otro lado, tienes la vida nocturna que sin duda es bastante movida, ya que hoy por hoy, ha cobrado vida el turismo y sus instalaciones y/o comodidades para cualquier persona que quiera venir. Hay hoteles 100% operativos, con excelente wifi, agua y planta eléctrica, lo que te da una estadía acogedora, para poder disfrutar de sus playas y sitios turísticos.

They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but if I had to convince you to come to Margarita Island, I would tell you that there is no place in the world where you can have a better time. Margarita offers creeks, hills, more than 50 beaches, caves, mountains, and that makes it very attractive for hikers, for those of us who live here and above all, for a large number of national and international tourists, who travel through the places, either on foot or by bicycle; but they must keep in mind the pre-established routes, respect for ecosystems, the environment, flora and fauna.

Dicen que una imagen vale más que mil palabras, pero si tuviese que convencerte para venir a conocer la Isla de Margarita, te diría que no hay un lugar en el mundo donde puedas pasarla mejor. Margarita ofrece riachuelos, cerros, más de 50 playas, cuevas, montañas, y eso la hace muy atractiva para los senderistas, para los que vivimos aquí y sobre todo, para una gran cantidad de turistas nacionales e internacionales, los cuales recorren los lugares, ya sea a pie, o por medio de bicicletas; eso si deben tener muy presente las rutas preestablecidas, el respeto a los ecosistemas, al medio ambiente, a la flora y la fauna.

That is why Margarita has become my favorite place. I have always loved life in front of the sea and here I feel I have it all. When we are able to connect with nature in a spiritual way, we feel fortunate and grateful to life for being part of such a beautiful place and those who have ever come to Margarita and have known it, know what I mean. I speak personally, under my experience and my current position on this island, which has been for me, a blessing, for all that I have known, experienced and the beautiful thing that the people of Margarita have to give and make known their work. All that and more, encompasses a magical place that the world should come and meet someday.

Por eso, Margarita se ha vuelto mi lugar favorito. Ya que siempre me ha gustado la vida frente al mar y aquí siento que lo tengo todo. Cuando logramos conectar con la naturaleza de manera espiritual, nos sentimos afortunados y agradecidos ante la vida por formar parte de un lugar tan bonito y quienes han venido alguna vez a Margarita y la han sabido conocer, saben a lo que me refiero. Hablo en lo personal, bajo mi experiencia y mi posición actual en esta isla, la cual ha sido para mí, una bendición, por todo lo que he conocido, experimentado y lo bonito que las personas de Margarita tienen para dar y dar a conocer su trabajo. Todo eso y más, engloba un sitio mágico que el mundo debería venir y conocer algún día.
