Why I love rainy season
Greetings all.
Here in my country Nigeria we have two seasons and they are dry season and rainy season and my favourite one is the rainy season. There are so many reasons why I love this season and I tell you.
First of all, the weather during the rainy season is much cooler. The heat of the dry season is always very intense and it makes me uncomfortable, the heat of the dry season also makes it hard to sleep at night. I'll have to sometimes stay up using hand fan to fan my baby so he can sleep. But when the rains come, the temperature drops, and everything feels fresh and cool. I can sleep peacefully through the night without waking up sweating.
Another reason I love the rainy season is because it helps prevent rashes. During the dry season, I begin to have heat rashes and it always itches, sometimes it burns and I won't fell comfortable till i have bathed even if I have bathed before, I have to bath again. But the rainy season brings moisture and coolness, which keeps my skin comfortable and free from irritation. I don't have to worry about scratching my skin or feeling uncomfortable.

The rainy season also brings out the beauty of nature. The plants and trees become lush and green, and the flowers bloom beautifully. Everything looks vibrant and alive. I enjoy walking around and seeing the colorful flowers and the fresh, green leaves on the trees. The air smells so clean and fresh after a rain shower, and this makes me want to stay outside after the rain stops.
During the rainy season, farmers are happy because their crops tends to get the water it needs to grow. I'm not a framer but I did some planting at the back of my house and during this period I'm happy I planted because my crops are doing very well. Dusting this period the markets are filled with a variety of produce, and everything tastes better. It's a time of abundance and good food, which is another reason to love this season. Also we get to eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Even though the rainy season can sometimes bring heavy rains and flooding, I still prefer it over the dry season. The rain might cause some inconveniences, like muddy roads and delayed plans, but the benefits far outweigh these minor issues. The cool weather, peaceful sleep, beautiful scenery, and fresh produce make it all worth it. And for this reason, I'll always pick the rainy season over the dry season any day and anytime.
