HOW I FOUND OUT ABOUT HIVE

Getting to know about hive and coming onboard the blockchain is one of the best things that happened to be. Staying put on hive and giving it my all is also one of the best decisions I've ever made in life, and this is all thanks to my junior brother @philips-afolayan and @monica-ene, who played a major role in bringing me to the hive blockchain and as well as putting me through all the nitty gritty of hive to help me thrive on the blockchain.

It all started one faithful afternoon when I was on my way to check up on my bedridden junior brother, who had been admitted to the hospital for months. While in the tricycle, I got a call from my immediate junior brother @philips-afolayan, who told me about a blockchain space he was introduced to by his friend. Since he wasn't residing in my vicinity then, he recommended I meet the same person who introduced me to him so I could be mentored.

After getting her contact information, I put in a call to Monica, and we scheduled a date to meet so I could go through how to create an account and also learn about the basics of hive. I paid her a visit, and believe me, that day marks the beginning of a positive change in my life, as I get to create an account and learn concrete tips from Monica, who shares all I need to know without reserving knowledge or getting tired of my endless questions.

MY INITIAL REACTION

My initial reaction to hive has always been positive from the onset, given the fact that I've learned about how some of my friends who work as freelancers on Fiverr earn big, but aside from that, ever since I created my Facebook account in 2011, I've mostly used it to search for opportunities to earn rather than chat, and that's how I've, via Facebook, joined different contests organized by brands and won prizes such as a microwave oven, smartphone, cash prize, recharge card, wrist watch, and several others, to mention but few, so all of these experiences have braced up my mind with the mindset of making the rest of my life, the very best of my existence via hive.

Although when I first joined, I found it hard to put up content for days, I often got encouragement from Monica to keep trying, and even though the journey wasn't smooth and encouraging in the beginning, I used the testimony of Monica and some of the other old peeps I met on Chain as a blueprint to never give up, but instead had the mindset that if they could do it, then I can.

MY PRESENT EXPERIENCE AND PERSPECTIVE ABOUT HIVE

Hive has evolved from being something I visit on a blue moon to a space I can't do without in a day; it has literally become part of me as though it were the oxygen I breathe. I've come to love Hive, and I'm enjoying my stay here. The journey on Hive has been mostly filled with pleasant experiences, and I'm super excited for the support I've gotten so far.

Via Hive, I've become a better writer and groomed myself in many ways to make my content top-notch, just like the top authors we've got on chain. Hive, like I said, has become part of me because I've gotten to meet many friends with whom we've grown to become the best of friends. I'm thankful for knowing this space, and I'll forever be grateful for it.

THE JOURNEY THUS FAR

My journey on Hive has been awesome, although it started with me being confused about many things and not using appropriate tags sometimes. But my willingness to learn, improve, and also have a dedicated mentor who's willing to take on my many questions has made my journey much smoother. Another thing that aided my growth on the hive blockchain was the newbie initiative I joined, which took me through every nook and cranny of the Hive.

Fast forward to the present day, and Hive has changed my life in many aspects, especially financially. The place I used to struggle has been eased, and I can remember being able to rent my present apartment via my earnings on Hive. It was also instrumental in the purchase of a solar inverter when I was having electricity issues.
