LOH #224: Once Upon A Time At Night

Hello Ladies...

It’s been a while since my last entry for this community contest. Now I really like one of the themes in this contest.

Lately I’ve been enjoying writing something fictional. I think writing fiction again even in the form of a short story is very good for stimulating the fiction writing skills that I have long abandoned. Yup, I’m also reading fiction books as well as recalling my favorite genre. So, let me write something fictional inspired by Hivian and something he likes.

This fiction synopsis is inspired by @itz.inno who likes strolling around when no one is around. Let’s get it!

A Synopsis of

Once Upon A Time At Night

the picture is my personal collection

Tokyo at midnight is very interesting for Jiro. He is not a Night Owl, but he loves to run his bicycle around Tokyo at night when people have gone to bed. However, who would have thought that this unusual hobby would lead him to an incident that would destroy his mentality in an instant.

On that quiet night, Jiro heard a scream that was so shrill. When he went to the sound, a woman was lying stiff covered in blood. The police patrol car found him sitting stiff in front of the body and arrested him as a suspect in the murder of the nightclub worker.

After that, Jiro's life was like a roller coaster. He ran away to find evidence that he was innocent. Again, he had to walk along the quiet streets while avoiding the possibility of being caught because he had become a fugitive.

In search of evidence, Jiro again becomes a witness to another serial murder. He is now hunted not only by the police, but also by a mysterious serial killer. His life is now at stake, but he must uncover the murders that claimed the victims of this nightclub worker.

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.

I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.

Ah! I feel so bad for Jiro.🥲 All he wanted were; the night sky, bicycle and fresh night breeze. I enjoyed reading this.

Now, I’m really curious to know how he’d escape the police and the serial killer.

My Roommate was a big fan of Agatha Christie and very deep into the genre of Murder & Mystery novels. I can imagine a Manga version of this synopsis.
Thank you @viviehardika

Wow, I still read a murder and mystery through a drama and local novel. I still have not read Agatha Christie yet. Do you have any recommendation for beginner reader of Agatha Christie?

Any novel will do. Her Novels may be written under the Agatha name but I think more than one writer is involved. Good reasoning is required by the reader but often a surprise ending is the hallmark of Christie's writing.
My late Roommate may be into Murder mysteries where I may be more into Historical romances and some Stephen King.
