My Currently Activity For The Future

Hi everyone. Hope you all are well.

Thank you @irenenavarroart for this week’s prompt, I found that this is interesting, can share currently activity with others. Alright, let’s get it!

Since the beginning of last year, I started to get addicted to devouring novels that I had long postponed for a trivial reason—not being able to find time to read them in between my busy schedule. Last year I felt that my reading quantity was very small, so I don’t want to repeat it this year. I am determined to read 2-3 books in a month, which means I have to really steal time in between my busy schedule and start increasing my reading speed. So… this is what I am focusing on right now.

Not reading, but finishing the drafts of the novels that I have long abandoned. Yup! I have goals, which are to finish the draft of the novel and make my thirteenth novel in the form of a physical book, not digital. So that is my future plan…

  • To Accomplished My Draft

To support my future goal, of course I have to read more. Reading is one of the supports in writing, that way I can enrich my diction and also develop my imagination. So that the novel I am writing will have developments from previous novels. In addition, of course I have to be disciplined in order to complete the draft.

To stay disciplined, I took a different step from just writing but also uploading the draft I was working on to a publisher's writing website. From there I can upload each chapter that I have completed. That way I might feel very guilty if I don't continue because I will lose the opportunity to be seen by the editors there.

I used to read plenty, before Hive. I like to have novels and books as hard copy rather in an electronic form. Most of my library are titles I find in a few favorite used book stores but the pandemic wiped them out leaving my only source from Thrift shops. I'd like to write in the Historical adventure romance genre with a touch of the supernatural and occasionally leak a chapter out among my posts.
