After waiting all day for the owner of the place, who never arrived, our legend decided to return to the castle to find some clues. He spoke of ancient prophecies and hidden dangers, and of the many who had ventured forth but never returned.

At nightfall, the adventurers gathered around the hearth, the fire casting flickering shadows on the walls. They discussed the pros and cons of each route. The portal behind the church promised an immediate leap into the unknown, potentially bypassing many of the mountain's dangers but also possibly leading to unforeseen perils. Following the source upstream seemed a simpler path, with the certainty of facing natural obstacles and the elements head-on.
