I'm loving the game myself. My favorite part is the ability to open chests without having to invest into the game(even thought I've put in over 100 hive myself). I'd like to see more things to spend the Denar on to drive demand.
Right now, it's a very simple cycle of earn denar, buy chests, burn anything you don't need for Ori to upgrade your buildings level. This works well but I think we could expand on this quite easily.
Denar is the earned token. Ori should be the one spent to drive demand to the Denar.
Burning Ori to add a crafting system for buildings would be nice.
Burn Ori to reroll a stat on a building to something else random
Burn Ori to reroll the value of the stat on a building
Burn Ori to generate an additional attack to seek revenge on a rival
Burn Ori add alliance spaces with each space increasing the required burn amount exponentially
Burn Ori to give a temporary boost to defense stats
On a completely different note, I came from a time with old school text and very basic web based RPG games. I've missed the grid style almost pokemon like game where you move from space to space and encounter monsters and level up and find gear etc. A game like this that has seasonal resets with ladder prizes would be fun. The game would be completely not pay to win but a roguelike style so you can burn ORI at the end of a season to keep 1 piece of gear(soulbound) you've found or something like that to give you a boost for the next season. using the kingdom builder to empower a players progress in a roguelike rpg is the style of game I've always been hoping would show up on hive.
