Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.
I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!
For the theme:
It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.
The song should be the ending song of the anime.
The anime should be unpopular but its ending song should be great for the ears. 😅
Who knows, maybe this unpopular anime might be my next watch because of its ending song~

I like this cute ending song from the soccer anime called Whistle!. It's called Sweet Days performed by Minako Komukai.

I have no idea of this anime! Their song reminds me of those highschool days when you make most memories with your classmates and friends 😅
It's quite old... the anime was released in early 2000s and the manga started in the 90s. :)
I love sports anime, so I watch even some older ones... haha
And yeah... the song does have that kind of vibe. :D

In our country there was a very popular anime "Captain Tsubasa".
It's kind of ironic since I've watched a lot of soccer anime but never really checked Captain Tsubasa. hahaha Well, I watched some episodes of the 2018 version a few years back... xD
Well, I'm not sure about "unpopular" criteria here. Because if we saw it, it means it was popular enough ;-)
So I guess everything except for the Sailor Moon? :-D
My choice would be "Heart of Sword" by T.M. Revolution - the ending theme of the Rurouni Kenshin anime (1996).

an ED that I liked a lot at the time was Sayonara Namida, the ending of the anime Senyoku no Sigrdrifa, the song is quite slow and with piano rhythms which I have always liked a lot in the OP and ED, also has a great sentimentality and emotion in the lyrics. all this with a great reference to the red ribbon that unites people and that is not broken by anything, not even death can prevent people united with this red ribbon to meet again.
Wow this song makes me rethink about my choices in life 😂 but it's a nice song! And the music video looks so nice! Deep meaning!
I think this anime somehow qualified as an unpopular one because I haven't seen it here or even on my fb feed; I just happened to stumble on it while I'm looking for anime reco, and boom—with the power of binge-watching, I finished its two seasons. It's been almost two years since I watched this anime, and I'm surprised that with the cool animation it got, it didn't rise to fame (maybe because of the plot?)... Anyway these ending songs are both from Blood Blockade Battlefront (season 1 and 2!). For me, they're really light and soothing that's why these songs are part of my playlist!
