Anime Tracks Thursday Contest
Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.
I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!
For the theme:
It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.
I'm not sure if like me, you google the lyrics. Before, I also try to check on its English translation so I would understand the song better.
That's our theme for this week!
Share a line from an anime song - it can be any song!
This line from the lyrics should be memorable to you.
Please tell us also why it's memorable or why it resonates you or has an impact on you~
Let me know in the comments!
Please provide the title and the artist, and if possible a link to the music (youtube, spotify or maybe you singing?).

as every big romcom fan I think there is no phrase that I have found more memorable and so addicted to sing as the chorus of the OP of Shigatsu wa Kimi no uso, at the time it is very sentimental but once you see the anime you realize how memorable and dramatic can be this phrase sung by either of the two protagonists.
The phrase is:
It was you, it was you! The one who made me realize;
If we can make even the darkness shine, it will become a starry sky.
Stop hiding your sadness behind a smile,
'Cause every one of these twinkling stars will shine upon you.
In Japanese to remember
Kimi da yo kimi nanda yo oshiete kureta
Kurayami mo hikaru nara hoshizora ni naru
Kanashimi wo egao ni mou kakusanai de
Kirameku donna hoshi mo kimi wo terasu kara
WOW! What a nice phrase! Love it!
the nostalgia i felt from hearing this song, I have this on repeat especially orange by 7!! and the anime you lie in april hahaha so painful ! 😭
Good morning and best wishes to all of us.Interesting article, friend, show me.
(English)(Español)
Offer up! Offer up your heart! Will your own hans, open a path tho our rightful future!
This fragment alludes to all the sacrifices that must be made to achieve a goal that is above us and encourages us to fight for it to the last consequence. The lyrics of this opening for me represent a beacon of hope for the people of our time who are increasingly lacking in principles and purpose. The real world is not a social network. That is why I support all those who, as the opening says, give their hearts.
¡Sacrifiquen!
May I know what song this is?
Opening 3 de Shingeki no kyojin
what's the title of the song and who's the artist? sorry I don't really know about Shingeki No Kyojin so it would be helpful for others like me so we would all know about the song :)

There are a lot of memorable anime lines, but I guess what I'll share now will be from FMA: Brotherhood opening song.
It's really memorable for me because the lyrics resonate with me well, and I also remember the days I'm babysitting my cousins who were kids and toddlers at that time (now they're almost grown-ups ahahahuhu) because during those days we repeatedly watch its live action, and they're really spooked out with it (I can still remember my cousin's piercing screams ahahaha XD).
Ouch! But it's true.. Waaa
The tune attracted me at first because it's really catchy. But when I searched its translated lyrics, it was actually sad... Japanese artists do have a knack for making upbeat songs with dismal and almost depressing lyrics ahahahha
My love for Yui Yoshioka, the singer of this OST, and listening to it again fills me with nostalgia, bringing back memories like it was yesterday.
Sameeee! It's really a nostalgic song, and like you, this song also made me reminisce about some memories (especially my younger years as an otaku)—gahhh, I feel so old now ahuhuhuhu.
That younger years as an otaku! Huhu i feel you.. i also feel old too 😭😭
ahahhaha totally relate with you!
The lyrics in this song made quite an impression on me as if to say not to get lost in sadness or disappointment about the past or recent failures.
It was sung when Poppin Party first appeared on stage and almost failed to recruit Saaya due to her mother's illness. But Saaya eventually decided to join the band and Poppin Party sang this song. That situation made the song even more meaningful (to me), and eventually made it one of (or maybe the only one) song from Poppin Party that I play often.
The "Lalalala..." part in this song is also a plus for me because without knowing the meaning of the lyrics beforehand, I can figure out what the song is trying to say because I know what happened before the song was sung (Bang Dream S1 episode 8).
Yes yes, same thoughts! It seems like an encouragement line.
I've made a POST about 2 insights from the Light Novel of Tensura

As cheesy as it may sound, I love Inuyasha first opening because it's pretty and with a hopefull message. Here's my favorite part:
English: I want to change the world
Piercing through the gales, unafraid of anything,
Now I hold my courage and pieces of my smile
Change my mind
If we reach out to the soaring future
without losing our passion, we'll be able to shine,
It's wonderland
Japanese: I want to change the world
kaze wo kakenukete nanimo osorezu ni
ima yuuki to egao no KAKERA daite
Change my mind
jounetsu tayasazu ni takanaru mirai e te wo nobaseba kagayakeru hazu sa
It's wonderland
I wasn't expecting you to be this cheesy @mandysmoon 😉 But it's a nice song!
I am really cheesy sometimes 😅 but I enjoy it
This is a great choice!
Upbeat and fun with some great lyrics and meaning.
Never got round to watching the Anime though :O
It is really pretty and upbeat! Just like the anime, if you like simple but enjoyable plots, InuYasha is great :)
I kept trying to watch it but never got to it. Others always came up!

English song Translation lyrics
im walking the streests all alone
even though i want to be with you.
i should have known this.
if i fell in love with you that much
it would hurt just as much even though
i know it's heart-wrenching,
i keep thinking only of you,
even when i can't see you.
"Though we had to part, though we could never be together again. We had no regrets. Even if she returned to her world, married another man and had children with her. If the woman I loved was happy, then I could be happy. And I am. Our hearts had joined and so, even if she lived in a different world, that time, we really were together always, always. I would never let go of this feeling, or my love for her." - tatara's word for suzuno at 18:10 Fushigi Yuugi Ep 43
I admit I don't watch this anime because it's so popular but omg ang sakit pala neto T_T
