Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.
I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!
For the theme:
It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.
I don't have plans of a roadtrip yet but who knows, maybe this weekend I'll have one. So suggest a song to play on a roadtrip. Anything goes, mellow roadtrip? Party roadtrip? You can decide~

We used to play these songs before and we had this game that anyone who can say to which anime it belongs first will win. It also includes the ost for ghost fighter, samurai x and ranma 1/2. 😆 Good old memories 😄

When thinking road trips, I'm thinking of a song that can be blared from the car speakers while the passengers scream it with all of their voices.
Naruto as being an extremely long anime has a long catalogue of songs from plenty genres, and Tsuki no Ookisa is one that is just beautiful for a roadtrip.
A nice chorus that the full car can sing, fast enough to be fun but not to fast to be disorientating, plus it has guitar solos which that one weird guy in the back can mimic!!😂✨

but a great roadtrip song is marked by its relatability and shared nostalgic feels; it is a plus if everybody or most can sing along with it. here is a great one from yuyu hakushou for people around my age.

it is a very old anime, shown at least 20 years ago. but it recently had a live version shown in netflix.

For an epic road trip, I recommend "Tank!" by The Seatbelts, from Cowboy Bebop. This energetic jazz piece is perfect for adventurous riding, making every mile feel like a scene from an anime. ❤️

Reminds me of british garage bands; the Pillows like reinvent the rock on angry young men. Sounds fresh and convincing, as they enjoy every second of their sound (at least I have such an impression).
Let me share threeeee! Ehe. I enjoy listening to these song especially if i'm traveling using a public transportation and I'm surrounded with loud people. You know, there's a lot of those in public vehicles, lol. But of course that's not the only reason I listen to them. I like the vibe and the beat on each songs, and that is really a perfect song for any road trip. For me, not sure about everyone, uwu.

I think Howl's Moving Castle OST, Merry-Go-Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi is really good for roadtrips. The tempo of the song is really quirky, yet it's so classical and calming. I like how its tempo has various takes. It's ideal for roadtrips because it isn't that upbeat (I've read somewhere that upbeat songs usually cause a surge of adrenaline rush that most likely leads to fast and reckless driving ب_ب, but 'of course that depends on what kind of driver you are..). Eventhough its is pure instrumental, it is still a good song to listen to—especially if you're in the middle of traffic haha.
