So many great suggestions! Too bad I wasn't able to go to karaoke to sing them all but who knows, maybe it's going to be soon that I'll be able to go and sing all your recommended karaoke songs!

Congratulations @kuronokenshi @ruffatotmeee @kungfukid! I sent you 1 HBSI each.

Anime Tracks Thursday Contest

Imagine you're the DJ and I'm your audience.

I'm pretty sure you've heard a lot of anime songs or are you always skipping the OST? 😅 Hopefully, you still listen to the songs every now and then because they're gems!

For the theme:

Requesting a song to play while studying

It should be an anime song, of course. Old or new, anything is fine as long as it suits with the theme.

Do you know any good anime songs to play while studying or doing homework? I heard it's good to listen to these while studying and concentrating.
It can be instrumental.
And tell us if you've been playing this while you do your homework or study. 😅 Better with experience! 😂

Let me know in the comments!
Please provide the title and the artist, and if possible a link to the music (youtube, spotify or maybe you singing?).

Congratulations to the winners!

Songs to play while studying...this is a hard one! I usually can't study if there is any music on, especially if I have to read 🤣 it's too distracting. I do listen to music while I draw, though.

It'll probably have to be instrumental if I have to pick some music for myself while studying.

So, I chose the Haikyuu sound truck.
The composers are Yuuki Hayashi and Asami Yachibana.

I listen to this one on spotify very often while I draw, and I find it helps me concentrate better than music with lyrics.

To study I always need very relaxing and peaceful music, when I read the question, I automatically thought of this beautiful and relaxing saoundtrack. I used to use it as my alarm clock tone when I went to the University, it helped me not to wake up stressed haha

It's so sweet that it helps the brain to relax and concentrate on studying ❤️

Wait, no way! Is this?! I remembered my ex-boyfriend once recommended this to me... about a big guy being in love with a nice girl... I'm not a fan of romance, but is this really, really good? I might as we'll give horror a break for now

I can tell you it's extremely cloying haha I liked him for his tenderness and for Takeo, a very good boy who, despite being discriminated for being ugly, still had a big heart like him ❤️

I'm the type of person who can't study without any distraction. If it's too quiet, I end up sleeping, so I mostly studied in front of my PC or with some music on. haha

I listen randomly, but mostly calm ones... though I also sometimes listen to fast beat ones to keep myself awake. Here are some of my recommendations:

It's Brand New Breeze by kanon. It's from the anime La Corda d'Oro. :)

Aside from this, I also enjoyed listening to UtaPri songs like Canon by Mamo-chan

and Prince of Tennis character songs like Wonderful Days.

I hope you enjoy them... :)

Congratulations to the winners!

Aww, it's for studying now...Since for me, studying is a sad thing to do (lol), I usually play songs that have sad lyrics, and the same goes for the anime songs I played while studying. It doesn't matter if it has a slow or an upbeat beat, as long as it has sad lyrics, because it made me feel like an mc grieving while studying my notes ahahaha.

First is from Bleach ending song :

Life is Like a Boat

Then next is from Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun ending song :

Tiny Light

Lastly, is an opening song from Naruto :

Oh no, anime songs only? Looks like there's no BABYMETAL to insert here. Anyway. Since I'm not the kind of person into happy stuff, then here, have some Jigoku Shoujo BGMs instead (they're, background music from an anime, not really the OP/ED one)

AKA: Enma Ai's theme. You can hear this theme's notes on Sakura Fubuki [Jigoku Shoujo], Futakomori [Jigoku Shoujo: Futakomori], and Shiro Tori, Aka Tori [Jigoku Shoujo: Mitsuganae]

This too. My most pensive go-to.

Kumo to Rouba to Shoujo

Since there's no music, I hope this helps in studying and reflecting over your life choices. Heehee

nothing like anime music to study or work :D. in my case I have a couple of tastes depending on what I'm doing. if I'm studying or doing some work that involves concentrating a lot on texts or reading I prefer soft instrumental music with the case of ED Takt Op Destiny SYMPHONIA . an amazing melody.

when they are somewhat trivial activities that don't require a lot of concentration I prefer a little more animated songs to help me avoid exhaustion, a perfect one for this is the OP of Akebi-chan no Sailor-fuku, called Hajimari no Setsuna.
