My Actifit Report Card: March 27 2025 | Working with holiday mood

Hello Hive world, it is me again, Iris! For those who encountered my post for the first time, let me say hello from East Java, Indonesia.

Today I woke up with holiday moods and had to struggle to take my body to work. We are expecting the long holiday to celebrate Eid al Fitr and this year we got a full week long. But life must go on and to enjoy my holiday I need to get as many tasks done as possible today.

However, since I was in a holiday mood already, I took the trip leisurely and to boost my spirit I avoided the main road and took a smaller alternative road that passed rural settlement. It was nicer, the air was cleaner, and I passed paddy fields, sugar canes fields, and even passed a pretty nice stream - if you ignore the garbage of course. Found a cute little family of ducks bundled together in the manmade soil stairs to access that stream which automatically brightens my mood.

It was quite late when I arrived at the factory, but that's okay since I didn't have much schedule today, only a load of paperwork and reports to organize to avoid making my life like hell when I came back from holiday. As tempting as it is, believe me that procrastination is always a bad idea.

We did some safety tests for our goods today. This is mandatory and we do it every time we make a new batch to ensure we comply with US regulations. Since it is a regular test, we passed with flying colors and more reports to make for me.

Lucky that today I managed to finish everything early and didn't get any last minute problems as the story often goes. So I took my time and drive leisurely. I was looking for a place to stop by and rest for a bit since I was a bit sleepy since I spent most of my day in my office. So I stopped by at a rest area that was managed by one of local military base.

This place is quite unique because it was decorated with various kind of tanks, the real one! Perhaps they are remains from the Dutch Colonization, I am not really sure but it add some edgy touch to the place. I order ny drink and some snack then decided to stroll around while waiting. The place is pretty big, it has a fishing pond, a small shooting range, gym, swimming pool, and other sports facilities. But, the reason I chose this place is because it was cool, shady with a lot of towering trees, and not crowded.

I continue my journey after the sun set and the sky got dark. Tomorrow I can work from home, so it's time for me to enjoy a nice time with family. Thank you for reading my post and see you around!
