Get Large Rewards for Sharing Hive Links on Reddit! And Win Prizes! ๐Ÿ‘‡ HivePosh Contest #20

What is HivePosh? It is a marketing initiative with around 40 weekly active users. The mission is simple: to incentivize Hive promotion outside of Hive.

HivePosh thrives on Reddit, with around 15,000 visitors brought from Reddit to Hive in February 2025 alone. HivePosh has also landed on Bluesky. More social media platforms are coming.

Anybody can join and raise rewards in $HIVE and $POSH. How much? For most successful Hive link shares, it might be this:

How to get started? Sign up for Reddit, link your Reddit account to Hive on hiveposh.com, start sharing Hive links on Reddit and get automatically rewarded (read the 8 Dos and Don'ts to start smoothly).

Those who want more from this activity enter the HivePosh content here in the comments section by posting stats of their 5 best shares on Reddit. Users who have generated the most views win prizes:

200 HP delegation + 20 HBD for ๐Ÿฅ‡
150 HP delegation + 15 HBD for ๐Ÿฅˆ
100 HP delegation + 10 HBD for ๐Ÿฅ‰
50 HP delegation + 5 HBD for 4๏ธโƒฃ
50 HP delegation + 5 HBD for 5๏ธโƒฃ

Additionally, 5 HBD + 5 HBD are raffled off among people who ranked 6th or lower in the contest. Each accepted share with more than 1K views is considered 1 point - the more points you have, the wider sector you get on the raffle wheel.

The delegations will last as long as the contest goes on and as long as you keep sharing links on Reddit; they can stack, and previous winners can increase their delegations. Read the details of how to participate and ask me in the comment section!

! [Rules]
- Valid Shares:
Shares must be not older than 11 days. Do not add shares that participated in previous contests. We don't accept deleted shares for the contest.
- Valid Post Types:

  1. LINK โœ…
  2. TEXT with a Hive link visible in preview โœ… It should be a brief teaser designed to attract Reddit users to the original Hive post. It should not be a copy of the original post or a substantial portion of it.

Results of Contest #19

We did 615K views this week together; that's a lot, congrats on that, guys! As for the winner, r/CryptoCurrency brings gold again ๐Ÿ˜€:

This massive share has made yours truly, @x-rain, the winner of the contest ๐Ÿฅ‡ 141K altogether, including a share in r/Netherlands with 25K.

The 2nd and 3rd largest shares of this week in r/Economics and r/Technology earned @loading the silver ๐Ÿฅˆ:

Total 125K; congrats, @loading, an outstanding result! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅ‚

@tsnaks takes the bronze - well done! ๐Ÿฅ‰๐ŸŽ‰ - with the 4th and 5th largest shares, both in crypto subs:

@davideownzall and @blkchn win 50 HP, 5 HBD each for coming 4๏ธโƒฃ and 5๏ธโƒฃ. @oldmans and @dkkfrodo get extra prizes, 5 HBD each, for ranking 6๏ธโƒฃ/7๏ธโƒฃ. Congratulations, everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿฅ‚

Starting from contest #20, the mentioned extra 5 HBD + 5 HBD will be raffled off among people who ranked 6th or lower in the contest. A great idea of @blkchn, a bit altered by me. Hello, thank you for the welcome. I have a question.

I've been using reddit posh for a while in the blogger sub reddit but it isn't working for me anymore. I share my links and nothing happens. I delinked and liked again my account just trying to fix it but everything's the same. Where can I see an updated list of Hive friendly subreddits?

These are again great results from all.

Such great fun sharing and seeing the views count up, it's honestly super addicting for me to see views/upvotes/comments & Karma on reddit rise and all the while knowing it brings views to Hive platform.

Hello together,

I was just looking into this sub at reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Kryptostrassenwetten/

I am sharing links there and get good rewards. But if you look now there are so many shared links from Hive. Is this too much?

Maybe the mods there interprete it as spamming and block these links from Hive / Ecency / ...?

What do you think?

We share links and get rewarded. Many links are not own postings but are links to the postings of other users. I am also sharing links from other users. For sharing we can get sometimes big rewards, but the original writer of the posting gets not that much.

Do you think, that is fair?

And not all users like it, when their postings are shared somewhere else.

Another point, if you look at reddit, some links to Hive-postings are shared in 4 or 5 different subs. Could also be interpreted as spam.

What do you think @x-rain?

i never share a link that has already been shared to avoid spam call

i also think reddit posh comment should mention author gets rewards too, otherwise he will think only the sharer earns out of his work

100% agree. We should compile all suggestions into a single list to give it to the HivePosh devs.

Indeed a full list would be good, I was wondering if we should set up a hiveposh discord? Make things easier to discuss

so many shared links from Hive. Is this too much?

If it's not too much (still) in that certain sub you mentioned, it will become too much in another sub. Like, we have active sharing in r/veganrecipes, daily 2 Hive links or even 3 on some days. So far it's okay for r/veganrecipes. But what if we get more users with the focus on recipes? What if I post an invite post in Hive cooking communities saying "guys, join HivePosh and share your recipes in this and that and r/veganrecipes"?

I don't know what to do with that but we should start thinking about such things.

but the original writer of the posting gets not that much. Do you think, that is fair?

My opinion: if someone wants to get more $HIVE from their posts, they should join HivePosh. Many people have reasons not to join (lack of time, for example) but there is a big crowd that is lazy to do anything except posting. I am sure many people who whine about "why OCD never upvotes me??" saw this title:

Screenshot 2025-03-09 at 12-10-33 Get OCD Upvotes for Sharing Your Posts on Reddit! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Then Enter the Contest to Win HBD! ๐Ÿ‘‡ HivePosh Contest #19 PeakD.png

saw this title and thought "But I don't have an account on Reddit".

If you don't have an account on Reddit, create one to get OCD upvotes! That simple.

So. We have many people posting and few people sharing. So, sharing should earn more. Sharers in general are more valuable for Hive than passive posters.

And not all users like it, when their postings are shared somewhere else

We should manage this somehow, for sure. HivePosh devs don't have time to do extra work, and I don't have access to anything except @poshtoken.

Generally, devs don't want strangers to see their work from inside. Saying here in general, so I mean PeakD and Ecency as well. As soon as you allow someone to see your work from inside (statistics, code), you risk losing your job eventually - someone can say "what a mess you have here, guys" or "why you charge that much for that little" or "I can do this work better, faster, and cheaper", etc. So no dev would agree for that without much pressure.

So I am returning to "we should manage this somehow" and suggest to create a list of users who don't want their posts are shared.
