CCC's Street Art Contest #166 - Enigmatic spiral
No ideas... Breath in... and out...
I was talking to a friend of mine today about the "difficulty" I was having (or thought I was having) in finding a theme to publish on Hive, because I hadn't done anything for more than six days... When he gave me a simple, direct and very correct answer!
-"Why don't you talk or write about something you already do?"
And lo and behold, with that simple answer I went to my mobile phone to look at the photos I'd taken over the last few weeks and found a fantastic topic that I love to talk about: Urban Art.
Well, this time, as well as urban art, I also managed to combine a bit of urban exploration... And in what way, you ask? Having travelled to Sintra for a series of personal diagnostic tests, and as I was travelling by train, when I left the clinic and headed for the train station, I took a less direct route and first came across the façade of a very old chalet in ruins... A real find. Surely in this very central location so close to Sintra, it belongs to someone, but surely they are waiting for better days to come to be able to negotiate this highly coveted piece of land.
In a ruin of a 19th century chalet I found a somewhat enigmatic graffiti... A crow accompanied by a sparrow, facing what seems to be the epicentre of the creation of the world... or is it the epicentre of a point towards which everything converges and does not diverge? I'll leave the question to you. It probably won't have just two possible answers, because just like life, everything has multiple answers and there may not even be a correct one.
I couldn't find any identification that I could attribute to one or a group of artists, nor could I find any reference on the internet, although these urban canvases have some degree of quality and a particular degree of originality, since they take advantage of the architectural elements that are available to passers-by.
Here's the location on google maps, in case you'd like to find out why I'm so surprised at how out of place the house is in relation to the surrounding buildings and houses.

Quite a mysterious wall but very cool with these "torn" & faded colors. Btw, cool photos too. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
