Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Today I want to introduce you to the work of an artist I've already shared here, a work I saw in Manteigas. In the previous post, I had already seen his perfect technique, and this time I almost didn't need to see his tag to realize that it might actually be his work. The hyper-realistic strokes, combined with animated elements such as Minnie, make his approach unique and very entertaining. Another piece of a 3-storey building, it stands out for its vibrant tones and realistic shadows and colors.
Ivo Santos, born in Lisbon in 1985, took a liking to hip-hop culture and the music of Vanilla Ice, Kris Kross and Mc Hammer from a young age, through the influence of his mother and cousins. He rose to prominence in 2001, taking part in various events in Oeiras, Odivelas, and making a big leap with his sponsorship by various international brands such as Nissan and G-Shock watches.
Today, his work is recognized and valued all over the world.
