CCC's Street Art Contest #206 "Heron" "Garça" Bordalo II, Quinta do Mocho, Portugal [En-Pt]
Good afternoon, friends!
Welcome to another post in the Street Art community!
Welcome to another post for one of my favourite communities here on Hive!
This week I've decided to share some very original work, which some of you probably already know about, since the artist has such a high profile.
I'm talking about Bordalo II. Virtuoso, and using materials that no one else would use to create something so unique, Bordalo II takes our imagination, and with pieces of what is considered rubbish, paints them and uses them arranged, creating art in 3 dimensions.
The true essence and beauty of the art can be appreciated not very close to the piece. When you get within a few metres, then its true beauty comes to light. As you move towards the piece, you can see the pieces of rubbish, arranged in layers, meticulously arranged to make a unique impression.
Did you know this artist and his particular art?
It's not the first time I've publicised him here in the community. I've already shared one of his works on a building in the Chiado neighbourhood here.
I hope you enjoyed my post!

Hi! I immediately recognized this artist. There is a piece of him here in Caldas da Rainha called "Morcego de plástico"
And the more famous I saw 2 weeks ago is "Half Rabbit"
Thank you so much for your contribution with your photos! It is for sure a "type" of art and an artist that is mostly recognizable whenever it's sported!
The "Morcego de Plástico" as so vivid colors!
I haven't visited
Quinta do Mocho yet, but isn't this the area that is full of street art?
Exact!!! That very same neighborhood! The only thing that I recommend is to take the time to see everything.

What a beautiful work you have discovered, dear friend @xrayman, very original.
I must say that it is the first work I have seen by this artist. Thank you very much for sharing this peculiar work
have a beautiful day
I really like the works done by Bordalo, no exception here. Last year, he did an hedgedog in Montreal, so cool. Thanks for sharing these pics on The StreetArt Community.
Have a great day
