artDive, held for the first time in 5 years! I will also be exhibiting. / artDive、5年ぶりに開催！私も出展します。(ENG/JPN)

The day before yesterday, I received a piece of good news. artDive, an art event in which I have also exhibited, will be held for the first time in five years. This event has been held since 2009, and I had exhibited at the first time. However, I gradually stopped exhibiting because of the restrictions for young artists, and artDive itself was suspended due to the Corona disaster.

I was rarely invited to art fairs, and since I am a painter, I was out of place at handmade events such as handmade craft fairs, and there were no large-scale art events like Tokyo's Design Festa or Nagoya's Creator's Market in Kansai or even western Japan. I was in agony.

That is why I was so happy to see the resumption of the event, and I applied for it immediately. Yesterday, my application was confirmed and I will be exhibiting.

The event will be held at Miyakomesse, a large convention center, and we expect many visitors.
I expect the event to be as exciting as the Design Festa. I am already excited because this year I will be able to exhibit at art events in both the East and West. To everyone in Japan, please come to either Design Festa in May or artDive in October. We would like to create an enjoyable space. Best regards.

一昨日、嬉しい知らせが届きました。私も出展したことのあるアートイベント"artDive"が５年ぶりに開催されるというのです。このイベントは2009年から開催されており、私も最初の頃出展したことがあります。しかし若手向けの制限がついていたことから私はだんだん出展しなくなり、さらにコロナ禍のため、artDiveそのものが休止していました。

私はアートフェアにはほとんどお呼びがかからないし、かと言って一応絵画だから手づくり市みたいなハンドメイド系のイベントには場違いだし、関西、いや西日本では東京のデザインフェスタや名古屋のクリエイターズマーケットのような大規模なアートイベントがなくて、悶々としておりました。

それだけに今回の再開は嬉しい限りで、即申し込みました。そして昨日申し込みが確定して、出展が決まったわけです。

場所はみやこめっせという大会場で、お客様もたくさんご来場されることが期待できます。
デザインフェスタに負けない盛り上がりを期待します。私は今年は東西のアートイベントに出展することができるので、もうわくわくしています。日本全国の皆様、5月のデザインフェスタか10月のartDiveのどちらかには是非お越しください。楽しい空間を作りたいと思います。よろしくお願いいたします。
