Escape from the Island: A Cinematic War Story. Battlefield: Bad Company 2

Hello hive gamer, glad to be back with another post on gaming. I found out about a new gaming contest which is in the Gaming Photography community. Each time they set up a Theme. This time it was Cinematic Shots. If you are interested, don't waste your time and participate in this contest.

In the beginning, we see two Delta squads on a secret mission in a Russian military base. Each of our squad has 4 soldiers. My team was under the command of Sergeant Redford and our mission was to prevent a Russian invasion and stop a powerful weapon from falling into enemy hands.

So right now our task is to find information about that powerful deadly weapon. And only one person can give us the information and he is The Scientist. He worked at the Lab in that military base.

We were heading towards the Russian military base by boat.

The task was so simple. Get onto the island without setting off any alarms, find the scientist, and gather information about the deadly weapon he is developing. It would be great if he was willing to collaborate. If not, we would have to take him by force. We couldn't afford to fail, in any case. Armed guards were everywhere on the island, and the longer we were within the military base, the more likely it was that we would be caught.

Firing From The Watch Tower

Nothing was wrong with things until Delta Unit 1 made a careless choice. They chose to take a shortcut rather than follow the path, which led directly past a watchtower that was full of guards. It was a deadly mistake. The guards immediately spotted them, and before they could respond, gunshots broke out. The entire unit was destroyed in a matter of seconds, and before they even realized what had occurred, their bodies were in the water.

Blood In The Air

The chaos didn't stop there. As soon as they saw our boat, the Russians launched an endless rain of shots. Blood sprayed into the air like a horrific mist after one of our comrades was shot in the head. There was just time to live, no time to consider. We jumped overboard without hesitation and sank into the depths so that bullets couldn't hit us.

Breathless, I floated onto the shoreline. The island was already on high alert. Floodlights were sweeping over the island and Russian troops were patrolling the area, their guns ready to shoot at the first sight of movement.

The Island Was On High Alert

We alerted our base that we were being heavily fired upon. Our air support arrived minutes later, and the night sky exploded. We took advantage of the fact that they were distracted by the carnage above. It was our time. We proceeded quickly, staying in the shadows, prepared to carry out the objective before it was too late.

Brushed Fire Sence

Me and my whole team started to rush through the enemy base. It wasn't easy at all. There were too many of them. So we had a plan. Me and my commander Sergeant Redford started to move on the ground while the rest of the team members were running up. The most fun part of this heist was when we surrounder 10 Russian soldiers and brushed fire at them.

The darkness that had previously covered our movements vanished as the sun rose. All we could do was keep going. We were to meet the scientist at the top of the hill, as he had instructed us. We moved through the jungle area at a low level, taking slow steps and listening for any clues.

Then we saw them, Russian soldiers on patrol with their tanks positioned like steel monsters, ready to cause destruction. An encounter was out of our range. Rather, we quickly reported their coordinates to our base and requested an airstrike. Now all we needed to do was go on toward our goal and wait for the storm to come.

The strike was accurate. It destroyed the enemy tank at once.

Some of the enemy men who had survived the attack were crawling from the destruction, confused but still armed. We couldn't leave any danger behind. Our team pushed in without hesitation, their guns raised. The air was heavy with smoke and the smell of burning metal. There were no further barriers in the way. It was time to make it to the hill and finish the task.

We eventually located the professor at the top of the hill. His eyes darted around in total nervousness as he stood there, his face dark and sweat dripping down his forehead. Something was wrong, very wrong.

His voice was shaking, and as we pressed him for details about the lethal weapon, he said "There isn't time for conversation. We must get off this island Now". Then he said the weapon's name, THE BLACK and it was going to blow off. The Black, whatever it was, was more than just a threat and it was coming. There was no time for delay. We had to move quickly.

Enemy Base

Our only chance of escaping the island was the enemy submarine, docked at a station five kilometers away. The only problem was getting there in time. We needed a vehicle, and the only option was to steal one from the enemy base.

We had no choice but to prepare and release a full-scale attack. We rushed in, surprising the soldiers with a burst of gunfire. As we battled our way through, eliminating foes one by one, bullets flew by.

The Russians didn't let us take their car easily. That was a hell of a fight against them. I was heavily injured in this combat. we spotted an armored truck, and our ticket to way out. With no time to waste, we packed in and rushed toward the underwater station, praying it wasn't too late.

The whole base was on high alert. Enemies were everywhere. I saw something unbelievable, a fighter jet, hit midair, spiraling out of control before crashing into the ground in a fiery explosion. The sight was almost cinematic, like something straight out of a war film. My hand was on the machine gun. Whenever I saw Russian soldiers, immediately shot them down.

The Submarine Dock

We made it to the dock at last, but it would not be a simple escape. Enemies were everywhere, and as soon as we entered the area, they started shooting, showering us with bullets. There was only fighting. As we pressed forward, bullets tearing through the air, we responded with everything we had. The bodies of the Russian soldiers slammed the steel of the dock as they dropped one by one.

Now that the battle was finally finished, we hurried over to the submarine and locked ourselves inside. We dived beneath the sea and left the fateful island. But even as we ran, I couldn't help but wonder, what had we left behind? We had no idea what THE BLACK weapon was going to do next.

And what happened next, we weren't expecting that at all. A huge blast happened on the island, making the whole sky darker than ever. The destruction from which we had just fled caused the sea to shout in rage and rise into a terrible wave, like a tsunami. With a relentless force that was about to swallow the submarine whole, the water rushed toward us with horrifying speed.

I don't think I completed the story, I played it on PS3 and only played the multiplayer because I loved the tank combat and how the structures were destroyed.
