Hello dear craft lover friend, I finally decided to participate in the monthly contest of this beautiful community that has the bees as a theme. I had a few ideas in mind but as I like to decorate bottles and containers, I ended up making this little bee design to embellish a container that I would use to store honey. This is a way to recycle those jars of jam or other food that we've already finished and are going to the trash. There is no doubt that it looks more eye-catching and beautiful than the conventional container where it is marketed. Well, if you want to give a complete change to the honey jar you have at home, this is your chance to give it life and color. Below I show you the materials used and the step by step of the creative process.

Hola querido amigo amante de las manualidades, al fin me decidí a participar en el concurso mensual de esta hermosa comunidad que lleva como tema las abejas. Tenía unas cuantas ideas en mente pero como me gusta decorar botellas y recipientes, terminé elaborando este diseño de abejita para embellecer un envase que destinaría para guardar miel. Esta es una forma de reciclar esos frascos de mermelada u otro alimento que ya terminamos y van a la basura. No cabe dudas de que se ve más llamativo y bonito que ese envase convencional donde la comercializan. Pues si deseas darle un cambio rotundo al frasco de miel que tienes en casa, esta es tu oportunidad de darle vida y color. A continuación te muestro los materiales utilizados y el paso a paso del proceso creativo.

🐝Step by step // Paso a paso🐝

The main material is the glass container, which can be jam, pickle, any container you want to use, just wash it well and remove the labels from the surface.

El material principal es el envase de cristal, que puede ser de mermelada, encurtido, cualquier recipiente que quieras utilizar, solo debes lavarlo bien y eliminar las etiquetas de la superficie.

The base will be made with carmelite moldable foami. To do this, take a portion and flatten it with a rolling pin until a very thin piece is obtained, which will be cut into a hexagonal shape.

Con foami moldeable carmelita se hará la base, para ello se toma una porción y se aplana con el rodillo hasta obtener una pieza bien delgada, la cual cortaremos dándole una forma hexagonal.

Using a hexagonal head screw or any object that has this shape, it is pressed into the foami obtaining the structure of a honeycomb. This step should be done as quickly as possible, because the foami dries quickly. Then glue it on the front side.

Utilizando un tornillo de cabeza hexagonal o cualquier objeto que tenga esta forma, se presiona en el foami obteniendo la estructura de un panal. Este paso hay que hacerlo lo más rápido posible , pues el foami seca rápidamente. Luego se pega en la parte delantera.

With yellow foami the shape of the body is given, starting with the head, a ball is made and flattened a little, then the shape of the face is given, it is glued and finally the rest of the body.

Con foami amarillo se le da la forma del cuerpo, comenzando por la cabeza, se hace una bola y se aplana un poco, luego se le va dando la forma de la cara, se pega y por último el resto del cuerpo.

With the black color, the stripes are placed on top, being very careful not to exceed the material. Then make two oval pieces that will be the slippers and place them at the bottom.

Con el color negro se le colocan las rayas encima con mucho cuidado de no exceder el material. Luego se elaboran dos piezas ovaladas que serán los zapaticos y se sitúan en la parte inferior.

To make the honey stick I used skin-colored foami, first I made a long piece and attached it to a flattened ball, to which I placed two thin strips on top to give it the shape of the folds. To make it look more colorful I added a little bit of carmelite foami on top as if it were honey.

Para elaborar el palito mielero utilicé foami color piel, primero hice una pieza larga y la uní a una bolita aplanada, a la cual le coloqué dos tiritas finas encima para darle la forma de los pliegues. Para que se viera más pintorezco le añadí un poquito de foami carmelita encima como si fuera miel.

The little hand is very easy to make, just give it this shape and place it from the top black line to the honey stick.

La manito se hace muy fácil, solo le das esta forma y se ubica desde encima de la línea superior negra hasta el palito mielero.

The wings are white, to make them I just made a flattened ball and thinned it at one end. They are placed one on top of the other.

Las alas son de color blanco, para elaborarlas solo hice una bola aplanada y la afiné en un extremo. Se coloca una encima de la otra.

For the eyes, take a ball-tipped stick, mark it in the corresponding place and fill it with black color. I marked the eyebrows with a black ink pen. For the antennae, two long and thin pieces are made, one longer than the other and at the tip two balls are placed. With a pointed tool, they are torn to give it a furry texture.

Para los ojos se toma una esteca de punta bola , se marca en el lugar correspondiente y se rellena de color negro. Las cejas las marqué con un bolígrafo de tinta negra. Para las antenas se hacen dos piezas largas y finas, una más larga que otra y en la punta se colocan dos bolas. con una herramienta de punta se van rasgando para darle una textura peludita.-

Now the bee is ready, the only thing left to do is to decorate the lid. To do this, flatten a portion of yellow foami and place it on top of the lid, I didn't cut it because I liked the irregular shape of the edges. It is glued at some points on the side so that it does not lift.

Ya la abeja está lista, solo queda adornar la tapa. Para ello se aplana una porción de foami amarillo y se coloca encima de la tapa, no lo recorté porque me gustó la forma irregular de los bordes. Se pegan en algunos puntos de la parte lateral para que no se levante.

In order to make it look not so plain, I made a flower, I made the petals in the same way I made the wings, then I glued them side by side to form the flower. With a stake I made some lines in the center and filled it with carmelite foami. Finally, with eye shadow, I accentuated the color of the edges, the cheeks of the bee and the center of the flower.

Para que no se viera tan escueta, elaboré una flor, los pétalos los hice de la misma forma que hice las alas, luego los pegué uno al lado del otro hasta formar la flor. Con una esteca le hice unas lineas en el centro y lo rellené con foami carmelita. Por último, con sombra de ojos, acentué el color de los bordes, las mejillas de la abeja y el centro de la flor.
