Hello! I want to share my post and entry for the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge.I like orcs, I've done one before, feminine hmmm I think just a couple, so I wanted to try one of those.

This is the character that I have selected to make, I think it would be great to make it complete, it has a lot of potential, but well for now just a portrait, that will be left for the future.

I have left some images so you can see the process, I started this portrait on a watercolor canvas and when I placed the color I tried not to lose that texture.... sooo

To start this drawing, I first wanted to make a base of a "normal" portrait, so this was the beginning, with a couple of lines to have a base. I tried to make the lines not too dark.	To finish making the base, which would be lost and only used for the basic structure, so I would delete it in the end. I did the eyes, the nose, and the mouth hmmmm with that, it was enough to continue.

As I progressed, I brought the portrait more into reality, closer to what the character would be, and completely eliminated the initial phases, compared to the previous step. It already had more of an orc like face.	The portrait was starting to look a bit more complete, had some character to it, although I added the iris, the original character, I think I'll remove it later, but I was already happy with the sketch.

With the 8B pencil, I cleaned up the sketch and accentuated the lines more. In this part, I wanted the lines to be darker, but the rest would be clean.	After completing all the lines of the sketch, I did some shading to add some volume, mostly in the eyes, hair, ear, and so on.

To finish this portrait, I've put in the characteristic colors of the character, something soft because I didn't want to lose so much in the process.
