Food, undoubtedly, has the ability to amaze us and arouse in us different emotions and experiences, it is an art where you can mix different flavors and ingredients, to result in a delight to the palate, so for the CineTV contest this week, I want to participate with a movie quite popular and inspiring in some way, and this is Ratatouille.

What is the first thing they imagine when you tell them that a rat cooks? Incredible as it may seem, the protagonist of this story is a unique rat. Remy is the name of it, where his dream is to become the Chef of a prestigious 5-star French restaurant. This rat is an admirer of Chef Gusteau, a chef of a renowned restaurant in Paris, who passed away, but who still inspires him, even imagines him from time to time, giving him advice and encouraging him to follow his instincts to cook.
On his trip to Paris, he meets Linguini, a young employee of Gusteau's restaurant, who does not have the same gift for cooking as our little Rat. Remy will try to break every scheme and will give base to the famous phrase of his admirer "Anyone can cook", of course, it will not be an easy task, but his dishes will be his main weapon to achieve it.
Remy is the clear representation that, no matter who you are or where you come from, as long as you have the ability to excel and the skill to become something much bigger, you will break social paradigms and show what you are made of, beyond the superficial. As one of his iconic phrases from one of his characters: "Not just anyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can come from anywhere".
This little rat, with just one plate, managed to change the thinking of a critic and show him that a good meal will awaken all your senses and make you admire the person who made it, because he has let you taste his art, that is to say, his true self. And Remy is the clear demonstration that you should never let yourself fall for the critics, you must be confident in what you do and show them how wrong they can be or perhaps, show them that you can improve.
Ratatouille is not only the name of the movie, but also the name of the food that transformed the critic's vision of Gusteau's sentence, a meal that may seem very simple, but that reminded him of the best food one can taste: a mother's. Would you dare to prepare this delicacy?

La comida, sin duda, posee esa capacidad de maravillarnos y suscitar en nosotros diferentes emociones y experiencias, es un arte donde se permite mezclar diversos sabores e ingredientes, para dar como resultado un deleite al paladar, por tal motivo para el concurso de CineTV de esta semana, deseo participar con una película bastante popular e inspiradora de alguna manera, y esta es Ratatouille.

¿Qué es lo primero que se imaginan cuando les dice que una rata cocina? Por increíble que parezca, el protagonista de esta historia es una singular rata. Remy es el nombre de la misma, donde su sueño es convertirse en el Chef de un restaurante francés, prestigioso de 5 estrellas. Esta rata, es admirador del Chef Gusteau, un chef de un restaurante reconocido de Paris, quien falleció, pero que aún lo sigue inspirado, incluso se lo imagina de vez en cuando, dándole consejos e impulsando a seguir sus instintos de cocinar.
En su viaje a Paris, conoce a Linguini, un joven empleado del restaurante de Gusteau, que no tiene ese don para cocinar, como nuestra pequeña Rata. Remy tratará de romper todo esquema y dará a base a la famosa frase de su admirador “Cualquiera puede cocinar”, claro está, no será una tarea fácil, pero sus platos serán su primordial arma para lograrlo.
Remy es la clara representación de que, no importa quien seas ni de donde provengas, mientras tengas esa capacidad de superarte y la destreza para convertirte en algo mucho más grande, romperás los paradigmas sociales y demostraras de lo que estas hecho, más allá de lo superficial. Como una de sus frases icónicas de unos de sus personajes: “No cualquiera puede convertirse en un gran artista, pero un gran artista puede provenir de cualquier lado”.
Esta pequeña rata con solo un plato, logro cambiar el pensamiento de un crítico y demostrarle que, una buena comida te hará despertar todos los sentidos y admirar a esa persona quien lo hizo, pues te ha dejado probar su arte, es decir, su verdadero ser. Y Remy es la clara demostración de que nunca hay que dejarnos caer por las críticas, se debe tener seguridad en lo que haces y revelarles lo equivocado que pueden estar o quizás, demostrarles que se puede mejorar.
Ratatouille, no solo es el nombre de la película, sino también de la comida que le hizo transformar la visión que tenía el crítico hacia la frase de Gusteau, una comida que puede parecer muy sencilla, pero que le hizo recordar a la mejor comida que uno puede probar: a la de una mamá. ¿Te animarías a preparar esta delicia?
