CineTV Contest: Toy Story (2010) & Wreck-It Ralph (2012)

Have you ever heard the phrase that having a friend is having a treasure? It is because friendship, true friendship allows you to be free, without ties; unconditional support in both good and bad times. It is a relationship that is built over time and is enriched in many ways, where loyalty, selflessness and trust are the key elements for its fruitful development; a relationship that comes to cost to obtain in these difficult times, full of superficiality, however, when you get it you have to know how to appreciate it. For this occasion, I would like to share with you for the contest of Cine TV two of my favorite movies about friendship, which was hard to choose between several that convey this beautiful relationship, being the one titled Toy Story 3 and Wreck-IT Ralph.
Toy Story 3
Animation, comedy and adventure film, directed by Lee Unkrich and art directed by Dice Tsutsumi, Daniel Arriaga and Robert Kondo, produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. It won several awards including two Oscars in the categories of Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song. It was also nominated for Best Picture, Best Sound Mixing and Best Adapted Screenplay.
The film is the third installment of the famous animated saga Toy story, centered on the adventures of Woody, Jessie, Tiro al Blanco, Buzz, Mr. and Mrs. Cara de Papa and the trio of aliens from Pizza Planeta, which are toys that face difficulties together and all to achieve happiness for their little boy. In this third part, this child is grown up and goes to college, which leaves this group of characters already named, with the uncertainty of what will happen to them, since many of their friends were already gone. By accident, this group of friends end up in a daycare, however, what they thought would be their paradise, will make them reflect and face many things, including whether they will stay by their owner's side or decide to separate from him.
Toy story is a film that has given us great stories and teachings and this third installment is no exception, rather, it merged what it already brought us and resulted in a well-executed film, with an incredible animation and a narrative so emotional and well-developed that, undoubtedly makes it an art. This ability to think and speak that is conferred to inanimate objects, becomes a useful metaphor to reveal what true feelings are, among that the famous line of his song that says "there is a friend in me", the meaning that keeps this expression was what made him select it.
But what does this phrase refer to? It reflects that, despite the adversities, a true friend will always be there for you, both in good times and bad, even if that often means goodbyes, the true friend will be there for you, because it is the support that will never fade or betray us and even more, when those changes in the environment that confuse you and fill you with uncertainty arise, thanks to friendship, you can manage to assume, overcome and adapt. For this reason, it manages to narrate what has been forgotten lately because of superficial relationships and lack of loyalty, exploring closer and more intimate connections, allowing children and adults to understand that when someone really knows how to appreciate you, they will support you and show you what is good for you.
Wreck-It Ralph
Under the direction of Rich Moore and production of Walt Disney Animation Studios, they bring us an animated and comedy film for the year 2012. This film brings us to an arcade and the various video game characters that are in that place, placing Ralph, the villain of a game, who is tired of the role imposed on him, so he embarks on an adventure in another game to get the respect of his peers. On that road, he gets a little girl Vanellope von Schweetz, a girl who will turn his dream upside down, however, with her he will learn very important lessons and among them the value of friendship.
Many times we feel that we do not fit in anywhere and we perceive ourselves as Ralp, the villains of the story, but someone comes along who accepts us as we are and shows us that you do not need to change your essence to adapt, but your environment to appreciate other moments and people. Those insecurities become confidence when you have a friend and that no matter how many differences there are between the two, shows you how important this is in a relationship, because friendship evolves and grows when dreams or opinions are different, shows how strong and powerful it becomes.

¿Han escuchado la frase de que tener un amigo es tener un tesoro? Es porque la amistad, la verdadera amistad te permite ser libre, sin ataduras; el apoyo incondicional tanto en los momentos buenos como malos. Es una relación que se construye con el tiempo y se enriquece en muchas medidas, donde la lealtad, el desinterés y la confianza son los elementos claves para su fructífero desarrollo; una relación que llega a costar obtener en estos tiempos tan difíciles, llenos de superficialidad, sin embargo, cuando se consigue hay que saberlo apreciar. Para esta ocasión, quiero compartirles para el concurso de Cine TV dos de mis películas favoritas sobre la amistad, lo cual fue difícil de elegir entre varias que transmiten esta relación tan hermosa, siendo la titulada Toy Story 3 y Ralph El Demoledor.
Toy Story 3
Película de genero animación, comedia y aventura, bajo la dirección de Lee Unkrich y la dirección artística de Dice Tsutsumi, Daniel Arriaga y Robert Kondo, producido por Walt Disney Pictures y Pixar Animation Studios. Obtuvo varios premios entre ellos dos Óscar en las categorías de Mejor Película Animada y Mejor Canción Original. Además, fue nominada a Mejor Película, Mejor Mezcla de Sonido y Mejor Guion Adaptado.
La película es la tercera entrega de la famosa saga de animación Toy story, centradas en las aventuras de Woody, Jessie, Tiro al Blanco, Buzz, el Sr. y la Sra. Cara de Papa y el trío de aliens de Pizza Planeta, los cuales son juguetes que enfrentan las dificultades juntos y todo para lograr ser feliz a su pequeño niño. En esta tercera parte, ya este niño está grande y va a la universidad, lo que deja a ese grupo de personajes ya nombrados, con la incertidumbre de que les pasará, pus ya muchos de sus amigos no estaban. Por accidente, este grupo de amigos terminaran en una guardería, sin embargo, lo que creían que sería su paraíso, los hará reflexionar y enfrentar muchas cosas, entre ellas si se quedarán a lado de su dueño o decidirán separarse del mismo.
Toy story es una película que nos ha concedido grandes historias y enseñanzas y esta tercera entrega no es la excepción, más bien, fusionó lo que ya nos venia trayendo y dio como resultado un filme bien ejecutado, con una animación increíble y una narración tan emotiva y bien desarrollada que, sin duda la vuelve un arte. Esta capacidad de pensar y hablar que se le confiere a objetos inanimados, se vuelve una metáfora útil al revelar lo que son los verdaderos sentimientos, entre eso la famosa línea de su canción que dice “hay un amigo en mi”, el significado que guarda esta expresión fue lo que hizo que la seleccionara.
Pero ¿a qué hace referencia esta frase? Reluce que, a pesar de las adversidades, un verdadero amigo estará siempre para uno, tanto en las buenas y en las malas, aunque eso implique muchas veces despedidas, el verdadero amigo estará para ti, pues es la apoyo que nunca se desvanecerá ni nos traicionara y aún más, cuando surgen esos cambios en el entorno que te confunden y te llenan de incertidumbre, gracias a la amistad, se puede lograr asumir, superar y adaptarse. Por tal motivo, logra narrar lo que se ha olvidado últimamente por las relaciones superficiales y carentes de lealtad, explorando conexiones más cercarnos e intimas, que le permita a los niños y adultos entender que cuando alguien de verdad sabe apreciarte, te apoyará y te mostrará lo que te hace bien.
Ralph, El Demoledor
Bajo la dirección de Rich Moore y producción de Walt Disney Animation Studios, nos traen una película de animación y comedia para el año 2012. Este filme nos trae a un arcade y los diversos personajes de videojuegos que en ese lugar están, situando en Ralph, el villano de un juego, quien está cansado del papel que le impusieron, por lo que se embarca a vivir una aventura en otro juego para obtener el respeto de sus compañeros. En ese camino, se consigue una pequeña niña Vanellope von Schweetz, una niña que le pondrá su sueño patas arribas, sin embargo, con ella aprenderá lecciones muy importantes y entre ellas el valor de la amistad.
Muchas veces nos sentimos que no encajamos en ninguna parte y nos percibimos como Ralp, los villanos del cuento, pero llega alguien que nos acepta tal cual somos y nos demuestra que no necesitas cambiar tu esencia para adaptarte, sino tu entorno para apreciar otros momentos y personas. Esas inseguridades se convierten en confianza cuando cuentas con un amigo y que por muchas diferencias que existan entre ambos, te demuestra lo importante que esto es en una relación, pues la amistad evoluciona y crece cuando los sueños u opiniones son distintas, demuestra lo fuerte y poderosa que llega a ser.

Hace pocos meses atrás vi todas las de Toy Story con mi hijo, lloramos juntos cuando Andy dona sus juguetes a la niña, pero también nos reímos mucho de tantos detalles geniales de esta serie de películas, tiempo después vimos la de Ralf el demoledor y también a mi hijo le gustó mucho, pero las de Toy Story le causaron mayor impacto .
