Landscape Photography Chapter 92~River Scenery Eroded by Excavator
Hello Hivers...
This post is also my contribution to the PhotoFeed Contest - Landscape Photography Round 92 held by @photofeed and I used my first photo in the contest.
Rivers are one of the important elements in the ecosystem, providing air for daily needs, irrigation, and habitat for various species. However, in some cases, human activities such as dredging or preference with excavators can damage the natural structure of the river. The River Scenery eroded by excavators is a real illustration of the negative impacts caused by this activity.
Causes and Impacts Excavators are often used to dredge sediment, dig sand or stone material, and widen rivers. Although the purpose of this activity can vary, such as flood prevention or infrastructure development, it is often carried out without considering the long-term impact on the environment.
Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
