Hello Hivers...

This photo is my entry in the PhotoFeed Contest - Macro Photography Round 82 held by @Photofeed. Natural phenomena often offer stunning beauty when observed closely. One of them is the praying mantis, a small creature that is often overlooked but has extraordinary uniqueness when viewed from a macrophotography perspective.

The praying mantis or also known as the leaf mantis is a member of the Tettigoniidae family which is commonly found in various habitats such as forests, gardens, or even around our homes. Although classified as a common insect, the beauty and complexity of its body details are only revealed when viewed with a macro camera.

When dealing with a praying mantis in macro photography, we can see every detail that was previously invisible. Its slender body is decorated with amazing textures and colors. Its long antennae that extend like fine fibers, its large and amazing eyes, and its legs designed to reach and cling to leaves are the main focus in this photography.

Photographing a praying mantis macro is not an easy task. It requires extra patience to capture the right moment. In addition, camera stability and adequate lighting are the main keys to getting quality results. Sometimes, photographers even need to wait for the praying mantis to move slowly or adjust to the available light to get the perfect result.

Important Note: I wrote in Indonesian, then translated it using Google Translate.
