PhotoFeed Contest - Portrait Photography Round 83 held by @Photofeed, I tried to share a portrait of a fisherman repairing a fishing net. It is a habit of the fishermen in the Panten Raja area, Pidie Jaya Regency, Aceh, Indonesia, every Friday they do not go to sea, in between their breaks there is a fisherman who is repairing their fishing net.

This work is not just about repairing equipment, but also about preserving traditions and a way of life. With great patience, the fishermen work under the warm morning sun, aware of how important these fishing nets are for the future of their daily catch. In the simplicity of this activity lies a deep meaning about perseverance and the connection between humans and nature. This is a real picture of the life of fishermen, who depend on their skills and perseverance to continue to support themselves and their families.
