Jalan Tangse, which is one of the main accesses in Pidie Regency, is currently in a worrying condition. The severe damage to this road is thought to have been caused by the activity of heavy vehicles passing through in order to support the construction of the Rukoh Reservoir. As a result, the road that should have been a vital route for the surrounding community has now turned into a mud puddle. Project vehicles that pass by every day cause the asphalt of the road to be destroyed and create large holes along the route. In rainy conditions, the air puddles add to the difficulties for drivers, often calling passing vehicles. It is not uncommon for trucks and private vehicles to have to stop in the middle of the road because they are stuck in puddles or are damaged due to damaged terrain, sometimes the police have to intervene to deal with stuck vehicles.
