Phone Photography Contest-10. Captivating felines. // Felinos cautivadores.

Nice day friends of the Feel Good community. Thanks to @untilwelearn for promoting this contest for those of us who love to immortalize our experiences through photographs. In this new week of competition I would like to participate by showing you an animal that has managed to win the hearts of the majority, crossing cultural barriers and the passage of time, without changing its essence.

En esta nueva semana de concurso me gustaría participar mostrándoles a un animal que ha sabido ganarse el corazón de la mayoría, traspasando las barreras culturales y el paso del tiempo, sin cambiar su esencia.

Cats are very elegant animals, have great hunting skills and are considered very special beings. They are enigmatic, striking and have a great personality. Their charm is so great that they have become a symbol of grace, cunning and delicacy. Different cultures have worshipped them. For the Egyptians they were sacred animals. For the oriental culture they are a symbol of love, peace, fortune and serenity.

Los gatos son animales muy elegantes, tienen grandes dotes como cazadores y son considerados seres muy especiales. Ellos son enigmáticos, llamativos y con gran personalidad. Su encanto es tan grande, que se han convertido en símbolo de gracia, astucia y delicadeza. Disímiles culturas los han adorado. Para los egipcios eran animales sagrados. Para la cultura oriental son un símbolos de amor, paz, fortuna y serenidad.

Cats, with their tender gaze, make children and adults fall in love with them. With their soft purr and graceful walk, they have captivated different exponents of art. They have earned their place in film, literature, television, painting, sculpture and music. That's why we find from famous paintings like Pablo Picasso's Cat Eating a Bird to cartoons like the Aristocats. Many people sighed with the song A Bird in the Dark, popularized several years ago by the famous Brazilian singer Roberto Carlos. There are also masterful literary works dedicated to children, where cats are the main characters. Such is the case of Puss in Boots, written by Charles Perrault.

Los gatos, con su tierna mirada, enamoran a chicos y grandes por igual. Con su suave ronroneo y su gracia al caminar han cautivado a diferentes exponentes del arte. Ellos se han ganado su espacio en el cine, la literatura, la televisión, la pintura, la escultura y la música. Por eso encontramos desde cuadros famosos como Gato comiendo un pájaro, de Pablo Picasso, hasta dibujos animados como los Aristogatos. Muchas personas suspiraron con la canción Un pájaro en la oscuridad, popularizada hace varios años por el famoso cantante brasileño Roberto Carlos . También existen magistrales obras literarias dedicadas a los niños, donde los gatos son los protagonistas. Ese es el caso de El gato con botas, escrito por Charles Perrault.
