What a joy to see this relic! I tell you that there is still a television of that type in my house and it still works, even if you don't believe me, it is true.

I have many stories to tell, well, not stories, anecdotes, but that's how we Venezuelans are when one has something exciting to say we say: I have a story for you! Those televisions are wonderful.

When I was 15 years old I met a good friend who is still today, at that time she had a television that she used to watch her novels at night, and she covered part of it with rags. under the door so that the light would not be reflected because she had the television on and lasted until late at night, maybe they discovered her because she fell asleep.

There were three channels that were visible and there was no remote control, Clack! Clack! Clack! This is how the handle sounded when you changed the channel, Venevisión, Channel 8 of the state, and RCTV were the options, I almost exclusively watched the first channel, good entertainment programs, ID card to the floor (another form of Venezuelan expression) when I tell them that I watched Giro´s TV with Maite Delgado, Sábado Sensacional with Amador Bendayan among others.

Then came technology, flat-screen televisions, and subscription channels, but: when I have not paid the rent on time because I have given way to other priorities, then I take out the old television and I watch the news less and the odd interesting program on Vale TV.

Some have sold or given them away, others have removed important electrical components and some have used them for other uses, for example, a cat bed or a fish tank.
