Blackmoor Jink and Fungus Flingers - Splinterlands Art Contest 340

Saludos queridos amigos de Splinterlands!

Hoy les presento mi nueva entrada al concurso de Arte de Splinterlands, muy contenta por los personajes y el resultado de esta nueva semana, tenia algunos días haciendo uniones de personajes en mi cabeza, pero la que termine haciendo no fue una de ellas, pero si es de los personajes que mas quería dibujar, en primer lugar hablare de Blackmoor Jink habitantes de las cuencas de Blackmoor, son unos pequeños traviesos que se pasan el día ideando trampas y travesuras para atrapar a los mas incautos, esta vez unidos en el mismo bando con los pequeños Fungus Flinger, son pequeños hongos que cohabitan el bosque junto a los Jink quienes lanzan trozos de hongos que explotan al contacto con su objetivo y pueden ser bastante precisos con sus proyectiles, estas es una combinación explosiva y peligrosa que definitivamente no quieres encontrarte.

Greetings dear friends of Splinterlands!

Today I present you my new entry to the Splinterlands Art contest, very happy for the characters and the result of this new week, I had some days making unions of characters in my head, but the one I ended up doing was not one of them, but it is one of the characters I most wanted to draw, first of all I will talk about Blackmoor Jink inhabitants of the Blackmoor basins, they are a little mischievous that spend the day devising traps and pranks to catch the most unwary, this time united in the same side with the small Fungus Flinger, they are small fungi that cohabit the forest along with the Jink who throw pieces of mushrooms that explode on contact with their target and can be quite accurate with their projectiles, these is an explosive and dangerous combination that you definitely do not want to meet.

Mi idea para dibujar a esta pequeña pandilla del bosque, fue crear un escenario en el que enfrentan a un invitado inoportuno en sus terrenos, sin importar el bando estos pequeños han formado una coalición para proteger su territorio, armados de alfileres, tijeras, piedras y bombas de hongos, se preparan para echarlos y volver a sus escondites, para llevar esta idea a cabo decidí dibujar un par de Jinks y varios Fungus preparando o apuntando sus bombas a los invasores, una vez estuvo listo la escena principal, dibuje el escenario que fue un camino rodeado de arboles y grama baja.

Luego procedí a añadir el color para ambos tome los colores presentes en el arte original de Splinterlands, aunque use una paleta similar el segundo Jink, pues también le dibuje un vestuario diferente y en cuanto al fondo elegí tonos cálidos y sepias para el bosque.

My idea to draw this little gang of the forest, was to create a scenario in which they face an unwelcome guest on their grounds, regardless of the side these little guys have formed a coalition to protect their territory, armed with pins, scissors, stones and mushroom bombs, to carry out this idea I decided to draw a couple of Jinks and several Fungus preparing or aiming their bombs to the invaders, once the main scene was ready, I drew the scenery which was a road surrounded by trees and low grass.

Then I proceeded to add the color for both I took the colors present in the original art of Splinterlands, although I used a similar palette for the second Jink, because I also drew him a different costume and as for the background I chose warm and sepia tones for the forest.

Seguidamente continué con el coloreado, aunque los Jinks originales son un poco rudos y mas atemorizador, yo quería dibujarlos como un par de niños traviesos, así que suavice un poco mas sus facciones y dibuje sus cachetes todos rosados y llenos de picardia, luego teniendo en cuanta la dirección de la luz añadí las luces y las sombras en toda su ropa y accesorios.

Next I continued with the coloring, although the original Jinks are a little rough and more scary, I wanted to draw them as a couple of naughty kids, so I softened a little more their features and drew their cheeks all pink and full of mischief, then taking into account the direction of the light I added the lights and shadows in all their clothes and accessories.

En este estilo hago mucho énfasis en las lineas del dibujo, así que mientras estoy coloreando voy rehaciendo las lineas y dándole la coloración adecuada, fue así que coloreados los dos Jink, seguí con el bordeado con lineas de color y el grosor adecuado, definiendo también los detalles como costuras y algunas sombras acompañadas de trazos mas finos.
Definidos los Jink, continué con el coloreado de los Fungus el detalle mas llamativo de estos pequeños son sus grandes ojos color rojo, así que mis esfuerzos estuvieron dirigidos en hacerlos lo mas fiel posible con el arte original, para luego seguir con el coloreados de sus coronas de honguitos.

In this style I put a lot of emphasis on the lines of the drawing, so while I am coloring I redo the lines and give them the right coloring, so after coloring the two Jink, I continued with the border with colored lines and the right thickness, defining also the details such as seams and some shadows accompanied by thinner strokes.
Defined the Jink, I continued with the coloring of the Fungus, the most striking detail of these little ones are their big red eyes, so my efforts were directed to make them as faithful as possible with the original art, and then continue with the coloring of their crowns of mushrooms.

Coloreados los personajes, seguí con el coloreado de el fondo, lo primero fue colorear el suelo bajo sus pies dibujando las sombras bajo sus pies, use un pincel con una textura de manchas para poder crear una textura terrosa, luego coloree las rocas y decores con pequeñas flores blancas alrededor, al fondo dibuje una grama baja, con algunas zonas mas iluminadas y por ultimo los tres arboles grandes definiendo sus cortezas y por supuesto las ramas de sus copas.

Once the characters were colored, I continued with the coloring of the background, the first thing was to color the ground under their feet drawing the shadows under their feet, I used a brush with a stain texture to create an earthy texture, then I colored the rocks and decorations with small white flowers around them, in the background I drew a low grass, with some more illuminated areas and finally the three big trees defining their barks and of course the branches of their crowns.

Y Finalmente así ha quedado mi ilustración de la semana a mi me ncanto la armonía de todos los personajes y la naturalidad entre todos los personajes, creo que forman un gran equipo y por supuesto estoy a su favor, que les parece este pequeño grupo de rufianes?

And finally this is my illustration of the week, I love the harmony of all the characters and the naturalness between all the characters, I think they form a great team and of course I am in their favor, what do you think of this little group of ruffians?
