Halloween ist zwar schon wieder eine Woche her, aber dennoch darf ich euch hier zur 331. Ausgabe des Beersaturday vom @detlev mein Getränk dieses Abends präsentieren.

Als ich an Halloween von der Arbeit gekommen bin, war unsere Tochter noch auf Süßes-oder-Saures-Tour in der Nachbarschaft und meine Frau hatte bereits zuhause alles vorbereitet. Ich brauchte mich nur noch hinsetzen und ein Fläschchen Bier aufmachen.

Ich glaube ich hatte noch niemals ein Bier das beim Einschütten in das Glas so geschäumt hat wie das "Satan Gold". Das ganze Glas war voll mit grobporigem Schaum. Dieser ist dann aber auch sehr schnell in sich zusammengefallen.

I don't think I've ever had a beer that foamed as much as the "Satan Gold" when I poured it into the glass. The whole glass was full of coarse-pored foam. However, this then collapsed very quickly.

Angeblich heißt das Bier "Satan", weil es teuflisch gut sein soll.
Der Geruch erinnert sehr an Getreide. Ansonsten finde ich hier wenig fruchtiges sondern eher einen würzigen vollmundigen Geschmack, dazu ist es auch ein bisschen cremig. Den höheren Alkoholgehalt erkennt man nicht so sehr, vielleicht ist das auch das teuflische hieran.

Fazit

Für einen Gag zu Halloween ist das Satan Gold in Ordnung. Ich muss es aber jetzt nicht zwingend häufiger trinken. Von der Brauerei gibt es noch ein "Satan Black" und ein "Satan Red". Mal sehen, ob diese Biere auch irgendwann den Weg in meinen Kühlschrank finden werden.

Conclusion

Satan Gold is fine for a Halloween gag. But I don't necessarily have to drink it more often. The brewery also has a "Satan Black" and a "Satan Red". Let's see if these beers will find their way into my fridge at some point.

Unsere Tochter kam dann auch wieder nach Hause, mit 1,5 kg Süßkram und € 2,50 in Bar. Unglaublich, was die Leute mittlerweile rausgeben zu Halloween. Bei einer Geburtstagsfeier in der Nachbarschaft gab es für die Kinder sogar noch eine Bratwurst vom Grill als Wegzehrung.

Our daughter came home with 1.5 kg of sweets and € 2.50 in cash. It's unbelievable what people now give out for Halloween. At a birthday party in the neighborhood, the children were even given a grilled sausage to eat.
