Weekend-Engagement WEEK #170: Living our best life, and to be our best version
Hello friends, I hope you had an enjoyable weekend, wishing you a great one this coming week. While it is true that living our best life is different for each of us, internally we all agree that living a full and happy life is a desired goal for all of us.
Now, as for the 3 most important elements to living my best life, I could mention to you the following:
1. Having a good relationship with my parents:
I feel fortunate to have grown up in a loving family, where we were instilled with principles, values, a good education and love for nature. My parents being the pillar of my home have been my everything, that's why together with my siblings we try to make sure they are well. Their happiness and well-being will always be the most important thing.
2. To accept myself as I am:
When I stand in front of the mirror and say nice things to myself, not to see myself from my defects, not to pretend to be someone I am not. While it is true, it is not wrong to seek to be our best version, the truth is that we are not perfect and that is not bad. Let's not stop wearing that new blouse, just because we want to leave it for a special occasion "the special occasion is today". Since I was a teenager I constantly criticized myself, I didn't accept myself, I wanted to be someone else...nothing more wrong than that. Today I can see clearly all that I have achieved, although there are things to improve, I am aware that I am on the right track.
3. Take care of my physical and mental health:
Our physical and mental health are fundamental. It is necessary to have a balance for a better life. As health personnel I am aware of all this. That is why I try to eat a balanced diet, drink enough water. I also take care of my mental well-being, for this one of my favorite activities are meditations, listening to the music I like while enjoying the outdoors. Appreciating nature gives me peace. So yes, I consider that these two go hand in hand to enjoy a full life.
These are some important elements for a happy life, there are many, but the important thing is that everyone has their own list and ways to be happy, after all, we only have one life to enjoy it. It is normal that we go through bad times, gray days, days when we do not even want to go out, so for those days it is important to apply some techniques to improve it and why not? Give it a twist to have inner tranquility.

You're right we only have one life to enjoy so we need to spend it to the things that will make us happy. Your three lists are a great way to make you happy.
