Weekend-Engagement WEEK #199: Changes and growth opportunities
Explain how you have changed in the last twenty years, how, why and how that change has affected your life.
Have I changed over these 20 years? Yes, without a doubt a lot. I went through different stages of my life, but the moment of greatest change was in my college life, moving to another city, living alone without my parents and adapting to a new lifestyle was a 180° turn.
When I was 18 years old, entering my first semester, I felt like an independent adult, with a lot of maturity haha what an absurd thing to say. At that age we are just starting to get to know life, we have so many mistakes to make and so much to learn. I took risks like any inexperienced college student, I got lost on several occasions in public transportation, I had long distance love affairs (according to me that worked because "love can do anything") I neglected at some point that subject that I saw as impossible, I collapsed when things did not go as expected.
Today I can say that each experience has made me the woman I am, I have learned from my mistakes, I understood that in the world there is a lot of evil, that we can not trust anyone. I understood that there is no need to fall apart if your plans do not go as expected, that everything in life has a solution, except death of course, that you have to accept the advice of people who appreciate you and know that it is not necessary to have 1000 friends, it is enough to have a couple of unconditional friends.
I keep learning, life is a constant change, in 10 years I will be 40 and it is not something that worries me, on the contrary... I look forward to continue accumulating beautiful experiences, improving every aspect of my life and sharing with my favorite people. Thanks for coming this far, have a great weekend. 🦋✨
