Weekend-Engagement WEEK #210: My favorite podcast to start the day
Hello friends, happy weekend, we are just a few hours away from celebrating Father's Day... how are your preparations going? In this opportunity I join the initiative #210 resuming them again after a break for work reasons.
A couple of years ago the word Podcast was completely unknown to me, communication has evolved by leaps and bounds, undoubtedly reaching every corner. Throughout these years I had dedicated myself to listen to comedy podcasts, because it was what I had been recommended, I do not deny that I had a lot of fun, however as time went by I lost interest in watching them so often, I guess I was interested in other topics but I did not know how to reach them.
Until I came across a podcast that to this day is the best I have listened to. Unlike any conventional podcast it is not long episodes, they have a new methodology.
How many of us barely open our eyes in the morning, we are on automatic? We check our phone, social media, etc, staying even longer than we should. We fill our mind with so much information, often useless, that we wake up mentally exhausted or simply activate our robot mode.
Last year I discovered this wonderful podcast, it's called DESPERTANDO PODCAST, they are short episodes to listen to every morning when we wake up, which allow us to connect in the here and now, to be thankful for everything, no matter how small it may seem, to find our stability, each episode talks about different topics, I particularly like to listen to them while I get ready or have my morning coffee.
Since I listen to this podcast my anxiety decreased, I don't worry so much about everything I have to do in the day, I just get busy and go at my own pace, I get home calm and thankful for every detail of my day, even for the most important one, which is waking up every morning.
So, if you have the opportunity to listen to it, you won't regret it, you can listen to it on Spotify. Thank you very much for coming here, I wish you all the best for you and your family, a hug. 😊
