Major change in my nation ~week168
Happiest New Year ladies, I don't know when we are supposed to stop saying Happy New Year to people tho, and welcome to a new week, may you achieve all you've set out for the week.
Nigeria is a great nation, a nation blessed with so many natural resources, amazing cultures, amazing languages, wonderful people loving and accommodating, a nation void of natural disasters how loving could that be, but they say no human is perfect now this saying is reflected in our nation today, permit me to say no country is perfect every nation has its flaws. There are things we feel require change in our nations, our region, and our personal lives as well, and that brings me to this week's contest:
Any major changes planned for 2024, or continuing as in the past? Let us know what is required to change in your country, region, or home.
Talking about my country Nigeria is a giant on its knees, there are a lot of things that require change, from the leaders to the economy down to the people I'm gonna stick to the most important area I feel requires change.

I believe change starts from the heart before it can be made open to be known by others. An area that requires change is the people that make up the nation, there will be no nation without its people, and we should be the change we want to see in the nation, thats our responsibility, anytime I'm having a conversation with people and they start preaching about how bad the nation is, the direction it's heading, they often put the expectation of change to come from the government and its regulatory bodies, fine they have a major role to play as well, but truth be told the change we want to see in the nation should come from us. I want people in the nation to stop having an entitlement mentality that it is the government that needs to change, we believe all problems are from the leaders forgetting we have our problems to take care of as humans.
They say two wrongs can't make a right, and we know the popular saying two captains can't do what? Yeah, you get it right, so the change has to come from the individuals, be that change you want for a better Nigeria.
thanks for reading🌹
Educated people use vote to make change, too lazy to vote, please don't complain!
People do make change happen from within the home, a village, city, nation. Once momentum is set into motion the leaders who are voted in by the people are held to account for their actions, then fault lies with the people voting in the wrong administration/government.

There is a very common saying: "nothing changes if you don't change" I think it is very appropriate for what you say!
Greetings!
You're very correct, nothing really changes if we don't change
