Hello Ladies, happy midweek I hope you are doing great, today I want to share with you my participation in the weekly contest, I was thinking a little bit about this week's questions 🤔 and I came to the conclusion that today is a specific time of the year where my passion or one of the things that I love and Christmas time, which is my favorite time of the year and I will tell you why, make yourselves comfortable, I invite you to keep reading.

Hola Ladies, feliz mitad de semana espero esten super bien, hoy les quiero compartir mi participación al concurso semanal, estuve pensando un poco con respecto a las preguntas de esta semana 🤔 y llegué a la conclusión que te hoy una época del año específica dónde se juntan mi pasión o una de las cosas que me apasionan y la época decembrina, que es mi época favorita del año y les voy a contar por qué, pónganse cómodas, las invito a seguir leyendo.

One of the things I am most passionate about in life is sewing, I have already told you that I learned from my grandmother who was also a seamstress and since I was young I have been developing that skill, my grandmother really liked her work, I never got to ask her if this was really what she liked to do, but once she told me that since she was a little girl she used to take the curtains from her house to make dresses for her rag dolls.

One of the times where she worked the most was in December, here in Venezuela it is customary to wear new clothes at Christmas and New Year, so I always saw my grandmother making dresses to sell and mended clothes, over the years and after my grandmother passed away, I was somehow doing her work, last year I sewed the dress of my little girl, and I made several clothes to sell, somehow I joined two of the things I like most in one sewing, and celebrate Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Una de las cosas que más me apasiona en la vida es coser, ya les he contado que aprendí de mi abuela quien también era costura y yo desde joven he ido desarrollando esa destreza, a mi abuela le gustaba mucho su trabajo, nunca llegué a preguntarle si esto era realmente lo que le gustaba hacer, pero una vez me contó que desde pequeña tomaba las cortinas de su casa para hacerle vestidos a sus muñecas de trapo.

Una de las épocas dónde más trabajaba era en diciembre, aquí en Venezuela se tiene la costumbre de usar ropa nueva en navidad y año nuevo, así que siempre veía a mi abuela haciendo vestidos para vender y remendado ropa, con el pasar de los años y luego de que mi abuela falleciera, ya quedé de cierta forma haciendo su trabajo, el año pasado cosí el vestido de mi pequeña, he hice varias prendas para vender, de cierta forma uni dos de las cosas que más me gustan en una coser, y celebrar la navidad y fin de año.
