Hi Ladies, how are you? I haven't been here for a long time, I was on vacation for almost two months 😅 but I'm getting back to my habits, this week's questions proposed by @elizabethbit caught my attention and I want to participate to tell you about my love for sunsets 🥰 let's go to the questions.
Hola Ladies, ¿Que tal están? Tenía mucho tiempo sin pasar por acá, estaba en unas vacaciones que duraron casi dos meses 😅 pero ya estoy retomando un poco mis hábitos, me llamaron mucho la atención las preguntas de esta semana propuestas por @elizabethbit y quiero participar para contarles mí amor por los atardeceres 🥰 vamos con las preguntas.
1️⃣ Some of the most beautiful times of the day are sunrise and sunset. We want to know which is your favorite and why? Also, please add a photo you've taken of your favorite one so we can all share in the beauty of it!
Undoubtedly, sunsets have a place in my heart, since I was little I like to watch the sky when the sun is falling and the day says goodbye, I come from a city that I think has the most beautiful sunsets I've seen, Can you imagine being in front of the sea and watch the sun go down? In Cumaná the magic happens and I love that, in Caracas lately I have been given the task of waiting for the sunsets.
1️⃣ Algunos de los momentos más bellos del día son el amanecer y el atardecer. Queremos saber cuál es tu favorito y por qué. Además, ¡añade una foto que hayas hecho de tu favorito para que todos podamos compartir su belleza!
Sin duda alguna los atardeceres tienen un espacio en mi corazón, desde pequeña me gusta contemplar el cielo cuando el sol va cayendo y se despide el día, yo vengo de una ciudad que a mí parecer tiene los atardeceres más hermosos que he visto, ¿Te imaginas estar frente al mar y contemplar el sol caer? En Cumaná sucede la magia y eso me encanta, en Caracas últimamente me he dado a la tarea de espera los atardeceres.
2️⃣ 2024 is Leap Year! If you were born on February 29th of a leap year, what do you like or dislike about it? How do you celebrate your birthday? If you weren't, would you want to be? Tell us why you would or would not, and also how you would celebrate it.
I have a very funny anecdote with this topic and it is that even though I was not born in leap February, my aunt Ana, my dad's sister was, according to my grandmother she was born an incomplete month, on February 29th so we always waited every four years to celebrate her birthday, we always tried to make a big party for her, some time later when she graduated from college they sent her to fix her birth certificate because it turns out that the year she was born February was not 29 so that was not her birth date, they sent her to change her birth date to February 28th 😅 now we celebrate her birthday every year what do you think of this story? 2️⃣ ¡2024 es Año Bisiesto! Si naciste el 29 de febrero de un año bisiesto, ¿qué te gusta o disgusta de ello? ¿Cómo celebras tu cumpleaños? Si no lo fueras, ¿te gustaría serlo? Cuéntanos por qué sí o por qué no, y también cómo lo celebrarías.
Tengo una anécdota muy graciosa con este tema y es que aún yo no nací en febrero bisiesto mi tía Ana, hermana de mi papá sí, según mi abuela ella nació un mes incompleto, un 29 de febrero así que siempre esperábamos cada cuatro años para celebrar su cumpleaños, siempre tratabamos de hacer una gran fiesta para ella, tiempo después cuando ella se graduó de la universidad la mandaron ha arreglar su acta de nacimiento pues resulta que el año en el que ella nació febrero no trajo 29 así que esa no era su fecha de nacimiento, le mandaron modificaron su fecha de nacimiento al 28 de febrero 😅 ahora sí celebramos su cumpleaños todos los años ¿qué les pareció está historia? Linda mi Caracas, como la extraño. Siempre veía los atardeceres en el boulevard porque tenía que estar corriendo por ahí a esas horas para trasladarme del trabajo a la universidad.

A beautiful sunset photo! As for the leap year birthday, it would seem that if the year was in fact a leap year, I'm not sure why they would want her to 'fix' her birthday, except maybe for legal documents. Seems strange to me. Kind of sad she had to give up her true birthday!
