Hi @djbravo, here in Venezuela we call what you describe as “Amarillismo” many journalists create scandalous or shocking titles in order to attract their audiences to their YOUtube channels mainly and then to the other social networks, we are flooded with that.
One suggestion, the Spanish speaking population is large, please place inside the post also the Spanish translation so we can understand faster the description as I show you in my answer. Greetings.
Hola @djbravo, acá en Venezuela llamamos eso que describes como "Amarillismo" muchos periodistas crean títulos escandalosos o impactantes con el fin de atraer a sus audiencias a sus canales de YOUtube principalmente y luego a las demás redes sociales, estamos inundados de eso. Una sugerencia, la población hispanohablante es grande, por favor coloca dentro del post también la traducción en español para que podamos entender más rápido la descripción tal y cual te muestro en mi respuesta.
