A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words.
When words fail to fulfill what the mind wants to say, indeed, a picture can say all of it without even actually saying anything! Thus, the picture is called "the universal language" because of the power it holds. From the beginning of creation, it has been there, and it will be there till the end.
The most fascinating thing is that it is not limited to a single outcome! Thousands of people can understand millions of words, and none of them may be the same! It all depends on perspective.

Firstly ... WHAT I SEE
I see an old man seated before a wooden table and a much younger woman beside him, in what seems like a cozy kitchen. The man is slightly downcast and resting his head on his hand, While the woman stands beside him with a cup of tea before her . She seems worried about the condition of the man .
Secondly... WHAT DO I FEEL?
Well looking at this heart warming image I sense a feeling of nostalgia and contemplation. The body language between the two people in the image suggests a quiet atmosphere shared between them with the way the man seems to be disturbed. What could be the problem?.
Thirdly... STORY
..On a sunny afternoon Sarah stopped by her grandfather's cottage as it was her usual routine after services. On getting into the house she finds grandpa sitting at the wooden table lost in thought
"Is everything alright" she asked but got no response, she tapped him and asked again
"Hello dear am just lost in thought again welcome" he said .
She knew the problem had to do with grandma because everyone since she passed away he is usually lost in thought thinking about her .
Sarah said no more she entered the kitchen and prepared grandpa's favourite tea and soup to cheer him up but all to no avail he just kept staring
He finally spoke up faking a smile "Did I ever tell you about the summer your grandma and I had in Germany?" Sarah shocked her head in doubt then grandpa began recruiting his experience
Finally the two sat eloped in memories, Grandpa seems a bit cheered up .

Hello @sonofman042. Your entry to the PIC1000 Challenge looks to be in order in my view. You offer with delight a different view of the photo. A grandfather who is lonely and missing his wife who has passed away. And a granddaughter who has come to prepare him a meal and attempt to cheer him up. How lovely the gesture.
This is how I feel family does for one another; especially the bond between grandparents and grandchildren such that they take care of them once they become seniors. Thanks for sharing this story. It's a delight to see the caring nature of the granddaughter.
Take care.
Yes family bond cannot be compared to any other bond family first ..
Thank for your reply
This is a lovely entry to the prompt. A granddaughter comforting her grandad on losing his wife who was most likely his companion and friend. Your insight is fresh and enjoyable. Lovely indeed.🌺

I like your thoughtful write up. Keep it up👍
Thanks man I really feel encouraged
We should never take for granted the time we spend with loved ones, and we should never trade it for anything. A time will come when we'll all be in different places, at such a time the only thing uniting us together will be the memories we've kept. Nice story line.
Well spoken family first thanks for the reply
Your perspective of the picture is interesting.
Nice story 👏
