Qurator's Photo Quest Competition! Church Amiens France.

Hello Hivians,

Take me to church. As I am traveling often, I always want to visit a church somewhere. I am not catholic ore a believer what so ever but still I want to go in.

Most of the buildings are just very photogenic and I like playing in them with my camera. This church was in the France town of Amiens. Well, church. They call it a Cathedral. It's really a big one.

I was lucky that I could capture these gigantic windows with the sun behind them. And when you put your cameras diaphragm on its smallest hole, you get the nice sunstar in frame.

It's not really clear but there is a woman praying in this picture. She is a bit small because I used my 14mm ultra wide lens here. And yes, this church is very very big.

And because of the wide angle, the ceiling also fits perfectly in one frame.

And one picture from the outside. I was lucky the person walked there in the middle of the street. Again a nice way to get the depth in a picture. Now you have a nice comparison of how big the church really is.

The Cathedral's interiors are absolutely stunning. The mosaics also add an artistic beauty with those different colors. Nice Shot😊
