Bird On The Wire

Balancing Act

Birds simply fascinate, entertain and bring daily joy to my eyes and peace along with it.

IMG_2723.JPG

How well they care for each other or take time to neatly place themselves on a wire, like an army neatly lined up with spacing enabling swift flight without getting tangled with each other, no traffic jam!

IMG_3368.JPG

Enough for one to sing sweet melodies as the sun starts going down...

IMG_2758.JPG

High rise apartment for all to find a spot, appears the more the merrier. we cannot all speak in one voice at the same time, but we can sing and live together, bearing in mind that spacing.

IMG_3028.JPG

Little ones simply chill, take a break then move along when ready!

IMG_3613.JPG

Wee little ones wait for Mom, alert while making sure it is safe up here...

IMG_3620.JPG

Desire of a person to be free of influence in what others might think or say, we are never truly free, you and I move between past, present and future.

Birds know how to accept each day as it arrives to sing in song, rest or prepare to migrate by sitting on wires weaving through our towns or cities.

I leave with a favourite song of my Mom's I remember as a young child enjoying not only song, learning a passion from my Father for birds and finding a way to enjoy moments even when we feel flustered or frustrated. Never stop rubber necking, keep looking at the birds that are found on wing everywhere in our beautiful world.

Have a wonderful weekend, closing off with song by Leonard Cohen - Bird On The Wire (Source: You Tube)

In the first photo, the bird looks like a swallow. She has a similar tail. But it is not like in our country.

I absolutely love all the photos and seeing the bunch lined up, I remember the house martins I saw a couple of years ago, plenty of them perching on a wire and no traffic jam.😀
The song is just spot on, great choice.

Thank you very much for your wonderful post!

Our swallows tend to congregate on wires before migrating, perhaps checking everyone will be fit and ready for the long flight.

Theses are the weavers enjoying early morning sun waiting for seed on the feeder !LOLZ

Hello Lady @joanstewart
All the birds are beautiful, but the one I liked the most is the photo of the hummingbird, its colors are beautiful

Smaller of the sunbirds in South Africa. They are all beautiful, of the 21 I have seen 4 different varieties in the garden, this little one is shy, more of a resident here seeing him daily.

In the photos captured, the birds look happy and relaxed sitting on that tight rope. Happiness is a choice we make and just as these birds hangout with no care, I choose to be happy, and without worrying about a thing.

Birds are forever busy knowing the seasons timing is what they work within, get on with life, never hesitate in moving their species forward.

You got very poetic in between this post and it's beautiful with the photos.

The high rise apartment is so cool.
I find it fascinating how birds line up and gather beautifully as they do.

Pity, obviously no large trees close to where you stayed, or people putting seed out for them, my sister misses her garden simply for the birds.

You know I often wonder what they 'discuss' whenever they gather like this....lol. Birds of the same feather flock together, so I guess they have so much interesting things to talk about.
Beautiful photos of the birds sitting pretty on those wires.

Birds also tumble each other with who is eating first, do chase each other, in early morning of late afternoon settle to enjoy some time simply enjoying life.

We can learn, no matter turmoil in daily routine some time needs to be spent in quiet solitude.

No one has the skills that birds have. So a large number fly together and it does not stop there, they fly in a line. That is a great skill. Nature has also filled birds with beautiful colors so that they are loved by all. Nature has given wings to birds so that they can see the world from above. Your post and photos are very beautiful. @joanstewart
