A common commodity. QC prompt #123.

Greetings everyone!

Common sense means shared, everyday knowledge, experiences and judgment that is expected to be possessed by all individual, based on their experiences, observations, and understanding of thier immediate environment and the world at large. Common sense have to do with being able to reason, make reasonable decisions, and move everyday situations effortlessly.

Common sense can be categorised based on Practical knowledge of life's Intuition (like knowing what is expected of us in any situation we find ourselves),our ability to reason long with other people around us and also being able to adapt to the immediate environments.

I strongly disagree that everybody has common sense. No human with common sense will leave his or her mess for another person to see. I have had to use a public restroom sometime ago and I met it all messed up by the person who used it before me.

I lamented about it and he was disgracefully asked to clean up his mess before the next user.

Here are few things I consider to be common sense...

#1. Our show of respect irrespective of age, gender, tribe or race.

#3. Our ability to reason along with others and not dominating or dictating to others on a public matter.

#4. Our ability to manage and understand that the tight situation we may find ourselves will only last for a while and not a life time.

#5. Our ability to effectively manage our time in our work space by not causing any difficulties for others or running into other people's time.

To me, respect means common sense because some people can be judgmental in their dealings. They believe that something should be procured by men and some profession should be for some white or black skinned women and I see that as a show of shame because the world is evolving everyday and no one should be looked down on.

Also some people believe that discussion most go thier way else there will be trouble for people who might be engaging in the discussion with them. Some might even try to bring up a fight such that the other party will have to agree with whatever they are trying to portray just to maintain peace or for their sanity sake.

Further more,some people have what I call entitlement mentality. They expect people around them to give gift to them without questioning them about what they need it for just by asking when they are in need or on a tight budget.

Lastly, some people may run into other people's time on the job because they fill that the part they take is more important than others and should be given all the time in the world forgetting the fact that time is money.
