QC Community Weekly Contest #131-I don't give up easily

Hello friends once again, it's been an awesome day for me since morning till now. I bring to you blessings of hive from Nigeria😄. I came across this week contest topic and decided to write today as it has been busy days for since last week. I gave up in somethings and still endure in some so seeing this topic sound as a reminder and at the same time, encouraging to me not to give up easily again.

Right now, I have a business that I invested some dollars in it, the dividend comes daily , although little but you can withdraw it any time any day, but right now, the company want us to stake our share for two years and take out our percentage once a month. I am thinking to stop or to continue, hmmmm, asking me what give up means, I should be talking about myself. Lol

Giving Up - What does giving up mean to you? Have you ever given up in your life? Is it true that people give up when success is very close? How do you know when to keep trying or when it's time to give up?

What given up mean to me

To me, give up means, I surrender, I won't do again, Is not me and you. But to give up mean more than this. Sometimes giving up leads to growth. In some businesses, you need to give up what you are currently doing to do a better business. Giving up doesn't mean failure , it means restrategizing, 14 years ago, I was in a village called Umuapu, although I was working, I was also a farmer, my farm was doing very well, but one day, the fulani heads Men had serious fight with the villagers that they killed a lady in a farm out of what they call missing bullet. Hmmm, war has started, Then I had a very big farm that is more than 5 plots, casava, cocoyam,yam, corn and so many things I planted were doing so well,but going to the farm was life trading. Many people lost their lives because of their lives and after so many attempt to go my farm and it didn't work, I gave up 🥹🥹.

I didn't give up because I was a failure or lazy,but because I have seen that what is more precious than my farm was at stake, my life. I quickly made another arrangement to get another farm land close to me, although not big or fallowed like the first one, I still planted that year. From their ,I got another connection where to plant and avoid that dangerous zone. I don't give up easily unless I give my best and it still not working.

What of toxic relationships, instead of you to die there, is better to give up, quit and live your life, another beautiful woman or handsome man will still come your way and life continues. This is the more reason I said, giving up in somethings leads to growth is not failure.

Some people give up when they close to success.

It is this type of giving up that I don't encourage at all. For example, you are on hive blockchain for 5 years, and inside this 5 years, you have brought a lot of value to hive,you have gained friends who always like your post and appreciate your work. Now on your sixth year, you made a mistake that leads to DV, maybe it lasted for months and you decided to power down and leave the hive blockchain.

Hmmm, Is not a good decision at all, it is not good to give because of frustration from someone who doesn't like progress, it could be how God want elevate your income on hive so giving up won't bring progress but setbacks.

In conclusion, one can give up when he tired of trying one thing over an over again with little or no result.
