Review: NOBODY

This is gonna be my first blog of movie review. The reason is because, When i watched it brought me into the story of this movie.

The beginning of this film tells the story of a husband, father, neighbor, brother-in-law, a friend who is so boring that he is even considered a useless as head of household.

The message of this movie is that good people are boring, and convey to the audience that good people also have their own dark side. So the point is mutual respect between people is very important.

Let's get back to the movie,
what is very interesting of Nobody movie is, Hutch had a dangerous past that was even feared in his city back then, And he wanted to leave all that and start a new life. Even his wife and two children did not know who the real husband/ father was. In their eyes his father was a monotonous and boring household, which is basically Hutch feeling the same way, Got tired living a monotonous life is always underestimated by the people around him.

In that movie, the audience even feels the boredom felt by the family. Seeing hir routine every morning, exercising, eating breakfast and working in her in-father-in-law's manufacturing factory by bus every single day. And after work, almost every day Hutch visited his father at the retirement home.

One night, a thief comes to Hutch's house, aims to avoid violence Hutch tried to give them whatever they wanted and asked them to leave. And suddenly the eldest son managed to knocked one of the thieves, and the other thief comes to help his friend then pointed a gun at his son. And slowly Hutch walked from behind towards the thief who was pointing a gun at his son with a golf stick. Was so close, but hutch still didn't do anything to the thief rather than he told his son to let the thief go. Even though Hutch should have a great opportunity to immobilize the thief from behind using a golf stick. In the end, his eldest son was beaten, which Becca (Hutch's wife) witnessed and they managed to escape.

After that incident, his wife and eldest son were getting more bored, because Hutch could not protect his family. Even the neighbors and the police that night humiliated him, and insulted him indirectly. Hutch argued he just didn't want fatal violence. And after that incident his wife and children were getting away from him.

In fact, the reason he let go of the thieves was he saw that the thieves were not too dangerous and even the pistols their using was no bullets.

Problem after problem, and the anger became even more unstoppable. but he still kept quiet and continued his boring routine. One day after work, when he got home his youngest child was seen looking for his lost cat necklace, which is usually placed in a glass container on the table. Which is the container where the thieves took money at that time.

He could not take it no more, Finally Hutch came out of the house and wanted to vent the anger that had been hiding against the thieves. Long story short, Hutch found them and managed to enter their house secretly. And pointing a gun at her husband in the middle of their dinner time. Then he started asking where the kittens were, but they said they didn't know. Hutch got more and more angry and he started to get violent, and suddenly heard the sound of a baby crying because of the commotion caused by it. After that Hutch came to the room where the sound of the crying baby was, and he saw a sick baby lying on a breathing apparatus. In the end Hutch chose to leave even though he had not found a cat necklace.

His resentment was growing, his pent up anger had been vented out on the wrong person, to the sweet family who are poor and faced with disaster. He was also banging on the wall aiming to vent his anger.

On the way home, a group of drunken young people entered the bus, and start messing around. And he said as if his prayer had been heard by God,
“God doesn’t close one door without opening another. Please God, open that door". In conclusion, the door to vent his first anger was closed and God opened another door. Interesting story isn't?

And in that bus he began to show real anger, and carried out very brutal violence against the 5 young men, resulting in death. And one of the young men is the younger brother of a Russian gang (Yulian), who has an important job in America.

So Yulian began to counterattack Hutch, starting to send groups to Hutch's house and to his father's residence. So here we can see the dark side of Hutch which has brutally killed 8 people in his house. Then his wife and eldest son were shocked to see how messy the house was and saw the dead body so brutally dead.

Another message that is conveyed from this film is, do you remember our parents often say if we do a night trip in the middle of the dark, when walking then walk and don't look back even though there is a voice calling, once you look back, then something will approach and continue to follow you.

So Hutch has called his past back, and he's ready for it. In the end he has to deal with a group of Russian gangs who are notorious for being dangerous in the city.

Very interesting story right?
