Social media platform တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ Reddit ဟာ March လထဲမှာ သူတို့ရဲ့ရှယ်ယာ 10% ကို IPO (Initial Public Offering) အဖြစ် ထုတ်ရောင်းသွားဖို့ ရှိနေပါတယ်။ IPO ရောင်းဖို့အတွက် IPO အကြံပေးတွေကို ငှားရမ်းခဲ့ပြီး 3 နှစ်အကြာမှာ အခုလို ထုတ်ရောင်းဖို့ ပြင်ဆင်လာတာလည်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ 2021 ခုနှစ်အတွင်း Reddit အတွက် funding round တစ်ခါရခဲ့ပြီးနောက်မှာ Reddit ရဲ့ တန်ဖိုးဟာ $10 billion အထိ ရှိလာခဲ့တာပါ။
ဒါ့အပြင် crypto ပိုင်းကိုလည်း Reddit ဖက်က တိုးချဲ့လာခဲ့ပြီးတော့ 2022 ခုနှစ်ကစပြီး crypto နဲ့ tip ပေးလို့ ရတဲ့ feature ကို ပထမဦးဆုံးထည့်သွင်းပေးခဲ့တဲ့ social platform တစ်ခုလည်းဖြစ်လာခဲ့ပါတယ်။ လောလောဆယ်မှာတော့ Reddit ဟာ ကြော်ငြာတွေနဲ့ Premium subscription တွေကနေ $800 million အထိ ဝင်ငွေစီးကြောင်း ဖန်တီးနိုင်ဖို့ကိုလည်း မျှော်မှန်းထားပါတယ်။
IPO အတွက်ကိုလည်း 2023 ခုနှစ် December လတည်းက လျှို့ဝှက်ပြင်ဆင်နေခဲ့တာဖြစ်ပြီး March လလောက်မှာ တရားဝင်ကြေငြာလာနိုင်ကြောင်း သိထားရပေမယ့် အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် နောက်ဆုတ်သွားရတာမျိုးလည်းရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်။
