LOH Contest #212: Happiness through virtue [ENG/ESP]

Greetings to everyone in the Ladies of Hive community! Today I'm joining today to participate in the #212 contest of the community. Before we begin, I invite my friends @aliciarodriguez and @alfonzolenke, who can join through the link I'll be leaving at the end of this post. That said, let's get started as I will be answering the second question.

Imediatly when I read the questions I couldn't help but remember the words of my dear friend, Felipe. With whom I usually have very interesting chats and who is also someone very knowledgeable in Philosophy/Sociology and tends to give me certain reflections that leave one thinking. Talking about happiness one fine day, he mentioned Aristotle and how the latter defined (or identified) it in the following way: happiness is not a solid, enduring and imperturbable state? It works more like small fluctuations that occur in short periods of time. And it certainly is; a brief state but one that we yearn for constantly. Well, how many things can we do to make that happiness emerge and even more, to make it last

I would also like to add what Aristotle mentioned about happiness and virtue as an ultimate goal. That of personal and moral improvement as a way to achieve happiness through a virtuous life. And I think that at this point I feel largely convinced of it because I believe that it is what is closest to my idea of happiness: a dignified life, with convictions, principles (that have coherence with the actions: harmony) enjoyed and free that translates into that joy that produces happiness. That is why, reflecting again on that, I would say that my happiness is largely affected by that virtue achieved. Although clearly, excellence and perfection is not something very human. That is why there are so many frustrations.

In conclusion: if it is a question of being happy, I aspire at least to be able to have the will and the opportunity to be able to fulfill the dilemmas of life in a virtuous way. To live as decently as I can and enjoy every experience. I am happy when I achieve a personal goal, when I live with my family, friends and pets, when I am aware of the world, when I try to make amends for my mistakes, when I love and am loved, when I am true to myself, when I perceive who I am, when I contemplate something beautiful and so much more. Finally my friends, that is my perspective on the matter . Each one will have his or her own opinion about it. Without more to say, thank you very much for stopping by. Best regards.
