How I React To Difficulties

“There are states of mind that arise from our way of facing what happens to us, either with resistance or acceptance. How do you face the difficulties in life? Identify your mood here.”

I picked this topic because I think I can clearly explain my thought process or reaction to certain difficulties I have had to face. Hi there, good day and welcome to another episode of my blog. Today we'll do a deep dive and see how things work out in my own world. I hope you had a lovely and productive day. I can't wait to hear your feedback on this.

I go through both reactions actually but that depends on the situation I am in or the mental space I am in at that point in time or what the difficulty is exactly. In some situations I say “this can't be happening now”, “not today” , “why here of all places” and so on while in other situations I just accept my fate “well it is what it is”, “there's nothing I can do about it”, “what is done is done”

The interesting part is this: let's say I lost something. I'd try to resist the truth of the situation at first but later on I will accept the truth for what it is and find a way to move on with whatever that loss is.

Truth is I can not predict what my reaction to a particular difficulty would be but most of the time this is how it works out for me, I either accept or resist or do both in a given period of time. But one thing is certain and very constant: there would always be a reaction to difficulties because us humans are biologically wired that way. Whether the reaction is outward or inward. Something is bound to happen or change.

I agree with you, sometimes we do not know how we will react to situations that may arise, it is what we have already faced that will let us know what our state of mind has been, thank you for sharing your thoughts,

Life is full of surprises with no guarantees either. Admittedly, I am the model of inconsistency unfortunately. I've learned to step back to pause before addressing the situation. There are days when I get quite moody, !LOL is when I have the highest potential to do something dumb.
(It's one reason I took up Kenjutsu arts.)

The ability to respond to difficulties is what differentiates us as humans. It is for this reason I built tolerance understanding because we are wired differently
